And not doing such a great job at it.

Well, Reagan did it...it can't be that hard 😀

One thing I can say about Reagan...he was a great "B" actor. I used to get all warm and fuzzy all over hearing his speeches.

before I get flamed, I would like to point out that Thomas Jefferson, one of my heroes, was a poor public speaker too
You're comparing Bush to Jefferson! You're kidding right?
Easy there... only as a public speaker... only as a public speaker.
Jefferson was such a poor speaker, in fact, with a high, squeaky voice and a stutter, that he often hired someone to speak for him. But he was a genius in mind, one of the most intelligent men ever. My opinion of GW's intelligence (or lack thereof) is much much lower.

everyone liked reagan, even if they disagreed with his policies.

Not everyone... I now quite a few people who hated Reagan.

It will take awhile for them to draft a declaration for the war, if they even will do that. If it doesn't come by the week the 10th, we will probably take matters in to our own hands...
I'm still betting on the 22nd of March.
Looking for that "ides of March" thing again , brutus?

Ya, March 15th though. Think I'll put my money on that.

Its a bet "Hayabusarider". You the 15th, me the 22nd.

dcpsoguy - you are quite possibly the dumbest person that I have ever seen on this board, and I feel that further debate would be wasted on you...

on the draft letter...I'm sorry, I was incorrect. It was wrong of Clinton to dodge the draft, and I will not think of him the same after reading that letter. If I may clarify, what Clinton did was dodging, but what Bush did was desertion. Read that site, you might find out something you didn't know about Bush.....

9/11. Are you blind? It was Clinton's fault for 9/11, he coulda had OBL, and in fact, if you blame Bush, you can also blame Clinton. So stop blaming the blame game liberals, and go to bed.
Got any proof to back that BS? If 9/11 was anyone's fault, it was GWB. It was on HIS watch! Accept the responsibility that comes with leadership. To blame the predcessor is specious and self serving. Sounds more like a child being caught breaking a lamp and trying to blame the dog.

I get the impression that you are playing at troll and doing a very good job of it.

Thanks, but you always say that. You're such a sweety.

Oh...so all of the actions of the terrorists came about after GWB was elected to office? PUH-LEEZE!! They were training for YEARS.

Acutally he's only president on a technicality. Last time I checked Gore got more votes than this absolute, god awful, pathetic man that we have to call president. Sometimes I feel like I just want to vomit at the very thought.

yeah damn that "constitution." Really, we'd be better off without it.

Many good presidents had speech impediments. However having a problem talking does not mean you are automatically a good one.

😀

<----tears in his eyes.

I've never been so moved by my president's speech. Greatest president that ever lived, ever.

-edit- ???what I don't know how to spell tears?

Hmm according to half of the people posting in this thread evidently so, they must have evidence or something other than their own opinions surely..

I am a Joe Citizen. I NEVER have to support a President. I prefer to support my country. If I feel they are at cross purposes, then WHOEVER is prez will get lampooned.

this is why children should be seen and not heard

I can't believe someone has the audacity to bring up the 2000 election. Jeez, get over it already. I am glad that Gore didn't get elected, because if he did we would have already surrendered to Al-quaeda. Why do you think Gore had that horrendous beard? He was just trying to be prepared if it went the wrong way......😛

Yeah, even I liked him. Only if he lived up to his rhetoric...but that was a bit too much to ask.
