No conjur, my argument is fact. Sorry, I have shown you over and over how the news that Bush won the recount was a lie based on limited recounts. Gore won the total legal vote state wide. The fact is vital to the future since Bush doctrine is as much a userpation of traditional American deplomacy as his presidency is a fraud. It's profoundly significant that he was not elected. Five injustices on the Supreme coup and not America are to blame for the tremendous tragedy of the Bush league.

No, moonbeam. Your 'facts' were shot down.

In your posts from other threads you referred to apparent 'cover-up' or hiding of portions of the recounts. Well, the two recounts that did show Gore as coming out ahead were only when anything resembling any kind of mark on the ballot was counted as a vote. That is hardly a fair way to 'discern the voter's intent'. Especially when that 'standard' was never used before in the State of Florida.

And, I would also like to point out that the vote of the SCOTUS to stop the recount was 7-2. You always seem to leave out that bit of truth. The 5-4 vote was only on the remedy.

It's in your fantasy that the ballots were hardly fair of off standard. Gore won with only those ballots that are unambiguously legal. Sorry. Get over it.

Again, no. There is NO law on the books of Florida that determines exactly what is to be considered a legal vote. It's up to the County Commissioners to discern voter intent. Feel free to post a link to the statutes stating otherwise to prove me wrong.

And, back to the 'winning' votes for Gore, the hanging chad was the de facto standard used by the counties (meaning, two corners were detached and the chad was hanging...like an open door.) The votes considered that put Gore in the lead included things like marks on the ballot and only a dimple in the chad, not even one corner detached! And that was not a standard used in the counties in Florida.

Then again, loose standards is a character trait in Dems.

I can't speak for anyone but myself but I see it for what it is: baseless, inflammatory crap.

To even begin to compare the worst mass murdered in the history of this planet to the sitting President of the U.S. is just so far beyond ridiculous that words fail me now.

The first time we saw this crap, it wasn't that big a deal. But too many people are posting these stupid things that are worthless. That is why it is flame bait. We are tired of seeing them.
