<<<< Now President Fox of Mexico wants >>

Who gives a flying fsck!>>

Mexico is a very important trading partner. Very very important. Second only to Canada. With Fox in charge their economy should move further and further along making them an even more valuable trading partner. If we can assist Mexico in coming out of the 3rd world then they will become our most important trading partner (larger population than canada and made in america is a good thing down there). It IS in our best interest to help mexico, how many $$$ do we spend patroling that border? If the Mexican economy can grow there will be no reason for mexican illegal aliencs to cross the border.

and canada's economy is not the greatest at this time..why aren't they crossign the border like mexicans? b/c mexico is plagued by a bunch of corrupt politicians and that's where they should concentrate their efforts in....improving their political system, which in return will help them to improve the working lives, and opportunities for their citizens.

Trolling again, I see, Texmaster. Even a dummy like Bush has, on occassions, to get something right. The kind of people who don't give3 a crap about immigration laws or waiting their turn, the kind of people who relish snubbing their noses at the people who they step over are just the kind of people who will go no to create bussines that power our economy and vote Republican. Listen to our leader guys. He knows more than you.

Good morning,
This is all about votes for the next Congressional election...

According to the latest census figures there are approximately 35 million Hispanic Americans. This demographic largely votes Democratic.

The Republican Party is desperate enough for votes for the next election that they are considering things they normally would not, such as this Amnesty. Strategically, they hope that this could make Bush the next Lincoln and turn a traditional Democratic voting block into a Republican voting block.

However, this Amnestry issue also illustrates in neon lights the divisions within the Republican Party. Irrespective of any potential political advantage that could be realized by including Hispanics within their party, many Republican Party leaders have been widely quoted in various media sources as wanting a very limited Amnesty, more research before granting any sort of Amnesty, or flat out against Bush and saying absolutely no Amnesty.

It's surprising that the Bush White House does not have greater control over what his fellow Republicans are saying to the press. Or maybe these politicians are more concerned with getting re-elected at this point and less concerned with the overall Bush agenda.

tax cuts - not. Most people didn't feel it was a good idea (and now we have a deficit)
prescription coverage - not (most would like to see medicare cover prescriptions for the elderly and not just discounting it)
expanded drilling in Alaska - not. (most are opposed to it)
handling the mideast - not (most are in favor of cracking down on israel more)
immigration - not

Lets be fair, I don't know of any politican that isn't conscerned with re-election. The last poll showed that 70% of Mexican Americans do not vote and in Texas, Bush enjoyed a good percentage of the Mexican American vote. (38%) What he did here was purely based on politics and as shown, it blew up in his face because the majority of American citizins do not support it.

Better be able to back that up. If it was so true, Clinton would not have been hit back so hard when he proposed the same thing to Congress by both parties.

<< handling the mideast - not (most are in favor of cracking down on israel more) >>

Again where did you get this?

Texmaster, while you seem to imply that I'm a moron because I misunderstood which side of the issue you are on, it apparently is you who can't interpret very will. It happens, so it doesn't really make you the actual moron, just the one who misunderstands. :D

I am perfectly aware which side of the issue you are on. My statement was directed to that side. Allow me to interptet for you:

Trolling again, I see, Texmaster. (This refers to the fact that you are calling others trolls who voice different opinions. They were not troll posts. Find out what a troll is. Grow up and stop calling people names. You have a brain. Use it to refute what you think is wrong.)Even a dummy like Bush has, on occassions, to get something right. (This refers to the fact that while you may disagree with Bush, In fact, on this issue, he's right.) The kind of people who don't give a crap about immigration laws or waiting their turn, the kind of people who relish snubbing their noses at the people who they step over are just the kind of people who will go on to create bussines that power our economy and vote Republican. (This means that the kind of people you disparage, that Bush wants to give a free pass to, and whom you wish to deny, are your kind of people, the very people who once they get something for themselves would never want to shair it with anybody else, who will shut the door as soon as they get through.) Listen to our leader guys. He knows more than you. (This means that you shouldn't pick and choose what to agree with and what not to that springs from the genius of your glorious leader. You simply don't have the capacity to see his great segacity, but he is right and you are wrong.)

Sorry no. Like this thread. I provided a link with the percentages of the people who disagree with Bush's blunder as I did with the European apology link.

Next time read more carefully.

A troll is a moron who comes in a takes pop shots without providing anything to back up their shots. Hence Czar.

Breaking down each statement only makes you look desperate. So you are for blanket amnesty? What do you tell all the immigrants who have waited YEARS to go through all the red tape? Too bad?

The contradictions are all figments of your imagination. Fore somebody who claims to back up what they say, you're amazing. :D

Please demonstrate the exact nature of these so called contradictions, if you wish to make such unsubstanciated aligations. The etech potshot is, of course, a perfect example of your definition of a troll, an incorrect definition, by the way. It is almost a universal law that that which we criticize in others is what we least like and don't see about ourselves. Welcome to the human race. :D
