Read the thread. MoveOn allowed thousands of submissions for possible commercials. This one was voted down and removed. The Bush camp then brought it back to attack Kerry.

Hey genius...I'm the one that posted the story about the moveon.org competition......yes the ad was eventaulyl removed from the moveon.org site BUT it was posted there for all to see and download....pretty shrewd actually....they post it....there is outrage....the remove it and disavow agreeing with it....but oopsie....it was posted for download and now it's out in the ether traveling to every little leftie extremist.......once it's out you can't pull that stuff back.

Since you seem to be REALLY slow let me say it again....the imagery of Hitler in the Bus ad is NOT....I repeat NOT being used to attack or compare Kerry to Hitler....it IS being used to show the extreme measure that some lefties will go to in their hatred from President Bush.

And in doing so the Dub's people are stating that if you are for Kerry and not the Dub you are one of those extremists? Sounds like total BS to me!

I don't think that is the point at all. I think they were just trying to show how angry and rabid some on the left are and point out that they seem to have nothing to offer other than pessimism and outrage......

How can that not be the point? By showing an Ad that would have never appeared they are stating that those against Bush for President are extremists who would stoop to compare De Furher with the Dub. Furthermore being pessismistic regarding the Dub and our future if he is re-elected doesn't mean that you are on the same level as those who created that Move.On Hitler Ad.

I can assure you that if that Ad was run by Move.On I would ber critical of them and of the Kerry comapign if they didn't condemn Move.On for running it.

Okay, I'm showing up a little late to the party, but let's see if I've got the gist of this: MoveOn.org sponsors a political ad contest. Among the entries is an amateur commercial that compares Bush to Hitler using specific imagery. Long story short, MoveOn.org had the good sense to remove the Hitler ad entry from their site, however now the Bush/Cheney campaign has resurrected it?

Shinerburke, your argument has been dismissed several times yet you still believe you are right. I suggest you take a good look at the quote above and think about it for a long time(maybe 7 minutes or so). Ask yourself this question, why does the Bush campaign feel the need to mudsling and completely assasinate the character of John Kerry. Why is their campaign NOT about the issues, and only about how bad the other guy is? Go look at Bush's website, see if you can find anything about Bush on the frontpage. Oh that's right, you can't, it's only about how BAD Kerry is. It amazes me how you can charge the left with being rapid and fanatic, when your own party is doing the same damn thing only WORSE.
