So much for the theory that he would be the compromise pick in a brokered convention. What place did he come in for the SC primary?

The convention could pick someone who didn't even participate in the primaries.

That would destroy the party instantly. I don't think it would survive a day. They know it. That's why they are trying Rubio now. The problem is that he is less liked than trump. They are going to have to get behind trump. He is their only hope.

Trump can only win as long as it's a multi candidate race, he's still way below having a majority in his own party.

What makes you think it's not already destroyed beyond repair?

He is much better liked than trump actually. Trump is the most widely hated potential major party candidate in history if I'm not mistaken. His negatives are through the roof.

There's a poll out showing Rubio or Cruz beating Trump by 16 points if it were a two-man race.

Trump will still be the Republican nominee. And possibly the New President?

Well, there goes one half of the political oligarch in this election. Thank fuck.

Now, surely, the party of the little guy will reject the other half.

Bush represents an aristocracy. Trump represents the oligarchy.

It does make me happy in a schadenfreude sort of way that all those rich guys that gave him more than $100M must open there wallets again.

Something he should have done ages ago, can't believe he actually thought he had a chance with the public perception of his brothers past performance being what it was.

Garbage candidate, garbage supporters.

He and the rest of the clowns are why Donald Trump has had so much success.
