You do realize the kid knocked the driver also? The kids a bitch for taking that from a busdriver. He punched him one time, he didn't even physically threaten the old man and the guy manhandles him. This incident was a disgrace, the kid didn't even fight when the driver grabbed his neck, shoulda whacked him with the seatbelt.
Edit: The felony is also crap for the kids, they got a record now. The elderly man got a misdemanor assault charge, which I also think is crap. SInce wearing the belt is not required on school buses there's no reason to be requested to do so. Now it may seem I'm for the kids but I'm not, I'm just stating my opinions.

complaining the law should be relaxed against her boys though they
a) were the perpertrators of hitting a goverment offical
and
b) were the ones to antagonize the bus driver repeadedly for no logical reason
the parents should be thrown in jail too. do the msome good about discipline and obeying the law.
stupid law. Despite what people on this forum seem to think, harsher penalties AREN'T the best way of ensuring better behavior. They just make more people criminals and ensure less respect for the legal system, as the punishment is not seen to fit the crime.Dickinson and Hendershot both face felony charges, which are required by law when a school employee is involved.

When i was in school if a teacher hit me,because I was being a brat/jerk;
I got hit again when I got home.
Kids need a good spanking when they act up,from when young,
or else when they are like 12 and have a bratty day, they are a Real handful.![]()

Wow those kids piss me off. True I am only a college student but all the kids around my highschool have gone from bad to worse. I can even notice it from the grades above me... My senior year of highschool the freshman were horrible, so many drugs, rude as hell, and they were all like rabits with how much sex they all had.
Even though i think that punishment should be had for those kids i dont think a year in prison is correct. THat seems a bit too harsh..and probably make them worse off.
For the bus driver..I can see why he did it..and i dont blame him for feeling that way, but he knows as well as everyone else punching kids on the job = fired/jail.

Why does it seem like everyone on ATOT wants the freakin' death penalty for jaywalking?
What I saw on the tape was something that would warrant a serious sit-down discussion with the parents and school officials, detentions/suspensions for the kids, and a week of suspension without pay for the driver. That's it. No one should go to jail for the sort of weak struggling that the tape depicted.

Sure, Singapore is very clean...but so is Ottawa. Which would you prefer to live in?

Both storys contradict themselves one says without pay the other says with pay, which is right?

Singapore, really. No crime, no litter, no pollution, no homless and no cars (hardly).

Well, in a sense, they both say "with" so there is no contradiction![]()
Taylor has been suspended without pay.

However, those kids needed to have the crap kicked out of them.
