Those kids deserve a swift backhand to the face to put them in their place. If I ever pulled something like that as a kid, my dad would have damn near murdered me.

Agreed. These days, kids think they rule the world, but they have no idea who they're facing or what to expect. Several years ago, there was a kid in our Boy Scout troop who I was reminded of when I watched this video. He was throwing snow balls at other unsuspecting kids, being bossy, and showing a filthy mouth. (This was at a winter camp) Being the bigger kid that I am, I tackled him from the side and threw his face into the snow and made him apologize. He never pulled that crap again for the rest of the weekend. I got a little lip from the troop leaders, but they were more or less happy with what I had done because they were sick of his BS too.

Regardless of what some will say, force and physical discipline goes a LONG way. The kid I tackled did not have any bruises or anything because I did not hit him. I just merely put him in his place.

if both sides had any sense at all, they would get together and tell the state to drop all charges and let the school decide the punishment.

that way, the bus driver would just "step down" and the kids would be suspended for a couple weeks.

would a year in prison or juvy really benefit either side?

Felony charges on those kids might actually do them some good - Though i am giving the parents the benefit of the doubt that they'll take some action and help teach their kids a lesson.

Those kids don't look too far gone..I think some prison/jdc time might do some good.

We can only hope.

Oh, and the bus driver is tight, he better not be fired!

Bus driver was simply trying to get those jerkoffs to put their seatbelts on -- the law. He deserves a transportation safety medal at the highest honors.

without trying to turn this into a P&N thread.

i agree that the bus driver wasn't too far out of line. but there is NO WAY, the court of public opinion will let him keep his job. parents will be too scared that he will do it again.

and i dont think those kids deserve to go to juvy, i think they are brats, not thugs. they got what was coming to them and probably wont do it again. spending time with kids that have commited more serious crimes will note help them.

That's a good point. Hopefully their parents will do something.

No, it is not law to wear the seatbelts in that bus.

And going physical over being called a mofo? Seriously unnecessary. Especially adult vs. child. He should have simply recorded it.

read the article. the parents ARE worse.

complaining the law should be relaxed against her boys though they
a) were the perpertrators of hitting a goverment offical
and
b) were the ones to antagonize the bus driver repeadedly for no logical reason

the parents should be thrown in jail too. do the msome good about discipline and obeying the law.

Looks to me the bus driver threw the 1st punch.

That right there should be getting him fired but then again this was in florida. 🙁

Wow those kids piss me off. True I am only a college student but all the kids around my highschool have gone from bad to worse. I can even notice it from the grades above me... My senior year of highschool the freshman were horrible, so many drugs, rude as hell, and they were all like rabits with how much sex they all had.

Even though i think that punishment should be had for those kids i dont think a year in prison is correct. THat seems a bit too harsh..and probably make them worse off.

For the bus driver..I can see why he did it..and i dont blame him for feeling that way, but he knows as well as everyone else punching kids on the job = fired/jail.
