May be good for archiving movies for playback on your PC only, as a majority of the set-top box dvd players out there play dvd-r's and not dvd+r's.

Once Amazon ships an order of DVDs, how long will it take to arrive using "Super Saver" shipping?
Amazon says these DVDs will ship between Feb. 14 and Feb. 28.
The rebate has to be postmarked by Feb. 28, so I need to know how long I can wait until I have to cancel my order.
AFTER Amazon has ALREADY SHIPPED the order how long does it take?Originally posted by: Kreggo
I've had orders from Amazon shipped "Super Saver" that took over two months to ship.

DVD+R's are more compatible if you use bitsetting. DVD+R is a superior format.
