The Toshiba deal was PM with Amex on a misprint ad from 6th ave in conjunction of using the BB 10% coupon. That was several month back.

when I went to CC today the manager wouldn't budge on the price. I'm gonna try another one today in hopes of at least getting $20 knocked off, since I was heading past a different one today anyways. If not, I'll probably just buy it for $550 'cause $300 + tax ain't bad at all, and it's gonna be great for xbox and dvd's =)

I joined the forum to Thank all of you for this fantastic deal. I just happened to stumble upon AT a few days ago....liked the forum and saw this thread for Panasonic 27" Flat Screen.

Though I did'nt think it would work out, but I anyway printed out the BB Page and the Cart Page with this TV in cart, and went to a CC store nearby.

15 Minutes, and only 5 lines of explaining later, I walked out with this 27" Pana for $246 !!!!!

No Hassle....No Agruments.....And No MIR/ Waiting !!!

BTW.....This TV is fantastic with gorgeous picture quality.

Do you guys think AMEX would care if I made an open box purchase of the TV at CC? It seems like they are very reluctant to budge on the new TV price, as they have 2 in boxes and 3 open boxes. I'm wondering if AMEX would not PM for me because the receipt will say "open box"?

I was able to get Circuit City in Cincinnati (Tri-County) to drop price by 100. Paid 449.00 +6% tax. Showed him Best Buy page and explained it was discontinued, and didn't they want me to be a happy customer? I asked if maybe they could take 150 off, I would buy it on the spot, salesman spoke to manager and told me he could only take 100 off. Deal!!!! He said there were 66 TV sets in this region including the distribution warehouse for this area.

Have already called and faxed to Amex. CC has 30 day return. If claim is denied, it goes back!!!

Oh also, HH Gregg stores were carrying these. The Cincinnati stores are out of new ones but the Glenway avenue and Alexandria, Ky stores had floor models for ~400. I do not know if Amex will PM a floor model though.

I don't have scanner to scan my receipt, I was planning to find a scanner to do it,
BTW it is $499.99 + tax = $541.24 receipt, since it looks pretty higher price now,
it will not help people much, hope someone else can post lower price receipte scan.
