How is this NSFW???? Sure a little blood and guts, but what do you think we are? A scared 6 year old girl that can't handle the sight of blood?

But anyways....

What else are they going to test on? Do the creators of that website want to step up and say, yea, do all that testing on me? I doubt it.

From Cryptonomincon by Neil Stephenson:
Let's set the existence-of-god issue aside for a later volume, and just stipulate that in some way, self-replicating organisms came into existence on this planet and immediately began trying to get rid of each other, either by spamming their environments with rough copies of themselves, or by more direct means which hardly need to be belabored. Most of them failed, and their genetic legacy was erased from the universe forever, but a few found some way to survive and to propagate. After about three billion years of this sometimes zany, frequently tedious fugue of carnality and carnage, Godfrey Waterhouse IV was born, in Murdo, South Dakota, to Blanche, the wife of a Congregational preacher named Bunyan Waterhouse. Like every other creature on the face of the earth, Godfrey was, by birthright, a stupendous badass, albeit in the somewhat narrow technical sense that he could trace his ancestry back up a long line of slightly less highly evolved stupendous badasses to that first self-replicating gizmo--which, given the number and variety of its descendants, might justifiably be described as the most stupendous badass of all time. Everyone and everything that wasn't a stupendous badass was dead.

Some of you are just pathetic, we are omnivores not herbavores. If you want to eat leaves, go ahead, but I am going to eat cow, duck, trout and any other tasty meat possible. Are you going to condem the bear for eating salmon, the fox for eating the squirrel? of course not, don't condem us for raising and eating cow/pig/rabit/etc.

As far as testing goes, would you rather they be tested on rabbits or poor children in Africa/Asia/Mexico? or perhaps new products are just evil and we should cease our innovation and live with only what we know to be safe. Ridiculous - Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time.

Oh noes! Pictures from the 1980s prove that bad things happen to bunnies right now! Where's an untalented celebrity endorsement when you need it?

Carnivores have no choice. Omnivores do, especially intelligent, emotional ones like us. Bringing millions of years of natural survival-of-the-fittest evolution and "this is just how we physically are" into our current modern state of being is asinine.

As far as testing goes, I would rather test on children. Especially ones who can't fight back. They would certainly be better biological models than animals for our medical testing purposes. If you think about it nothing really has any rights. Humans don't. Animals don't. Rights are simply something that people in society give to others, meaning others can certainly take them away whenever they want. If you personally don't give things rights, then you have no reason to complain when someone takes away your rights in response. I wish I could be someone who does this, but I first have to shed this whole "causing pain and killing is wrong" thing that I have going.

Most of this is revenge killing. We use to kindly hunt rabbit, but they keep poking their fingers down the gun barrow and the poor hunter would blow themselves up. Other times they dess up as a sexy human woman and seduce the hunter into the unthinkable. We put an end to all this by locking up these rabbits in cages. No more misfits from them

they're just damn bunnies... the most prayed upon animal in the wild... why do you think they reproduce so much... they have exceptionally low life expectations.

You think when a cougar kills a rabbit they do it humanely?

I think not...

If you think that's bad, what about the cattle and chicken industries? Cows and chickens are crammed into cages with little to no room to move. The list of cruelty goes on and on, but it just points out what hypocrites we all are. On one hand we can easily condemn these animal practices but on the other hand we gladly eat chicken and beef everyday.

I unlike a rabbit, have the support of billions of organized human beings many of whom have really powerful guns, standing behind me and denying you or anyone else the ability to do that type of testing on me. Often times nations have to stand up and kill people who attempt to do to them what is being done to the bunnies. If the bunnies were smart enough to work together and attempt to prevent their predicament then perhaps they could garner my sympathy and maybe even my support. But seeing as how they are too stupid to do this, they are thereby eligible for death carnage and destruction.
