So... how many days have to pass before bumping this thread again is a 6/10 on the humor scale, as opposed to 1/10?

Doesn't annoy me, nor do new & useless posts. Especially funny though, when someone bumps a dead thread in a useful way and get the "wtf did you bump that for?" response - generally from the same people who would give the "wtf use the search feature" response if the bumper had created a new thread :laugh:
 
Darn it! I was going to bump it this weekend. Now it won't be even remotely funny.

The object: wait as long as possible to bump it,
but bump it before anyone else does.
 
Seriously if anyone here gets even remotely upset about bumping an old thread you should do one of the following:

a. get a job
b. get a life
c. get a friend
d. get a job, a life and a friend
e. get a clue

Agreed. some people may not have seen an old thread and its new to them. creating a thread for the sole purpose of whining is just another old thread for people to.....
