OK Let me get this straight.

If someone reposts something from even a year ago, you little pricks scream REPOST and repeat it like a bunch of rabid Rainmen.

BUT, if someone SEARCHES and finds what they wanted to post about, then adds their comment to that thread rather than making a new thread and suffering the wrath of the REPOST goons, you're STILL PISSED OFF???

Look up the word "hypocrisy" and study it carefully.

people who shout repost on archived threads are anal. But if its been more recently i can see the need for REPOST nazi's.. but there's no reason to bump a thread just to say.. "yep"

You can't post in an archived thread. Therefore you cannot bump it.

Doesn't really annoy me, only when people bump flamewars, but most of the time those get locked down pretty fast.

I once saw a thread get revived after a year about sandwiches...
 
The only reason a thread dies, is because so many nit-wits start new lame ass topics, and push it into oblivion. It's better to revive an old thread, that already has links, opinions, and running arguments, than to start new ones and rehash the whole thing!

Agreed, if people used that wonderful thing, the "search feature" more then half the questions people ask, wouldn't need to be asked, however I'm beggining to question its reliability :|

That can't happen, because they get archived every 90 days or so.
