ugh. grow up.

You're telling somebody to grow up when this is a place where making jokes the person who died in a death thread are cheered on? lol great.

pedobear postings when talking about someones kid is diffrent and crosses the line.

There are no lines here, pedobear represents an adult mollesting children, there is NEVER a time when posting him should be anything but crossing the line. We see Pedobear here all the time. If one instance is acceptable all need to be. Regardless of if the child is one of the members or not, it's wrong to make jokes about it.

You obviously just have no concept of taste or tact. It's like talking to a child.

To the OP: Kick ass fort, now your daughter can finally lord over her domain.

That doesn't look like pressure treated lumber. Is it?

No, it's just common #2 lumber. Probably even worse than that since I picked it up at HD, and had to sift through ton of crap to get some decent boards.

I smoothed all the boards using electric planer, then routed all the edges with 1/4" bit - so no splinters and bad areas. There are still a couple of places that need sanding, so I'll do that, and stain the fort after that.

Common grade #2. You can buy it at HD/Lowes (I did), but the quality absolutely sucked, and I spent a great deal of time shuffling through loads of lumber just to get decent boards. I tried one lumber yard, but their prices were ridiculous. I should have shopped around: a second lumber yard near me had prices equal to those at HD, and much better quality lumber. This is where I went the second time around for additional studs.

In order for it to withstand weather, you'll have to stain it. It's not hard at all - just like doing a paint job.

Did the plans come with a specific bill of materials or did you have to figure out most of it?

iirc you're the jackass that was making jokes about the death of a child :|

You are right, I did do it once to see what would happen. Prior I'd seen a ton (at least 20) threads where children had died with jokes being thrown around like nothing. And there was no stink in any of them, except for what I raised. But the one time I do it to try and fit in, I get ripped a new asshole. Since, there have been other threads involving a child and death and jokes were aplenty. ATOT is great like that though, the inconsistencies here are just freaking awesome.

right, you were just doing it as a "test." your jokes and your refusal to own up to their classlessness makes you even more disgusting :| you should apologize to ATOT

I'm sorry so many people on ATOT have no class, and no clue how to act when it comes to sensitive matters like death. I apologize for each and every one of them.

And to Barfo, I'm probably one of the least liked members here. But when people who hate me typically think it's proper to make funnies when people die. I'm not that concerned with what they think about me ;)

You should also kill yourself.

The plans come with a complete list of wood needed, how to cut it, the quantity and type of fasteners needed, and pretty much cover every step of the way.
