For beds, two options:
1. Pillowtop
2. Foam (Temperpedic)
We currently have a Pillowtop. It's super-comfy and very cheap, I think our Queen set was like $500ish at Sam's Club. Incredibly comfortable.
Only problem is if you or your SO move a lot in your sleep, it transfers all the movement to the other person. I roll around and twitch in my sleep and it keeps my wife up. We recently tried out a foam bed, the Temperpedic, and will definately be switching when we move again. Zero weight transfer and super comfy as well...only problem is that they are very expensive. The high-end King is upwards of $6,000.
Our sheets are 400-thread count Egyptian cotton, just from Target. Pillows, whatever you like.
Our bedspread (blanket) is a down comforter from Ikea. It's so comfy we don't even use the top sheet on our bed. We got a King size for our Queen bed, lots of extra room if you want to roll yourself up when it gets cold. Ikea comforter + nice sheets + Pillowtop = bliss
Edit: Oh yeah frame - get a good one! A friend gave us a cast iron bedframe as a wedding gift, it's rock solid. I've had bedframes in the past that are not solid and squeak...it pays for itself when you don't wake up your SO in the middle of the night when you have to use the bathroom or get a drink
