Hi i am a guy from India and if you know about cost of building a decent PC here then you might feel sorry for me. But here's a thing my friend is in USA right now and will be coming back home this Jan. After some research i got to know that you can import some components to country if packaging seal is broken. And as black friday is near i want to make plan from before what to buy and from where to buy so i don't miss good deals.

budget: 1000$ max:1200$
Processor: ryzen 7 preferable 1700 as it has cooler included and as on overclock performance is similar,
MOBO: cheapest and reliable mobo X370,
RAM: max support by mobo on overclock
GPU: best possible on remaining money nvidia 1070 or vega 64?

can some one guide me what components should i be aiming for and from which sites. my friend lives in Dallas. my initial preference is to buy stuff online and set his address for delivery but i can also make him go to collect stuff from stores nearby.
i totally understand that we dont know about deals from before and i might get good deal on some other stuff and i might have to make decision at that moment. still having a list and shop address is good way to start shopping.

Gaming?
CPU: R5 1600
GPU : GTX 1070/Ti, RX 56
MB : Asrock Fatal1tx X370
RAM : Maybe RGB - would go with 3200MHz+
Monitor : 144Hz + 1080P/1440P.

@IRobot23 yes for gaming. my budget is for CPU GPU RAM and MOBO. you included monitor too in it so i guess there's chance of upgrade in other parts.
Can you please tell where should i buy them from?

R7 1700 is not best in its pricepoint, I would stretch for i7 8700 then.

Basically R5 1600 with some OC and 3200MHz DDR4 will do the job (unless you are FPS freak who is watching fps all the time, instead of enjoying the game) ... Why R5 1600 over i5 8400? Cause of threads, threads do help in MP games.

I think i7 8700 and R7 1700 not worth it for gaming purposes, specially if you wanna get better GPU. Better to save 100$ and spend it on monitor/gpu, ssd.

1. For gaming I recommend you to get 144Hz, best upgrade deal.
2. I would go with R5 1600 since it is cheap and AM4 does offer you upgrade, if needed (7nm).
3. GPU well depends on fps Hz/Res of monitor.

Where do you live?

If I where you:
DDR4 16Gb 3200/R5 1600/GTX 1070 or VEGA 56 combo, with SSD (at least 250gb) and 144Hz monitor.

I switched to 144Hz last year, best decision I have ever made. I do have freesync.

Sorry, I missed it. So someone from Dallas should let you know which micro center puts best deals for black friday.

CPU: R5 1600 or i7 8700 + decent cooler
GPU : GTX 1070/Ti, RX 56
MB : Asrock Fatal1tx X370 or MSI Z370 TOMAHAWK
RAM : 3200MHz+

R5 1600 should be much cheaper solution.
So anyway you can spend that money on SSD. I bet there will be deals for 100$ @ 500GB or save it for 144Hz monitor. If you will stick to 60hz monitor then i7 8700 is nonsense.

Anyway there are good prices already:

As for the video card, I just bought one. I typically lean towards AMD, but gtx 1070 is only $399 on newegg right now for their black friday sale. Newegg had ZERO rx 56 vega in stock, I checked Amazon and their best price on one was $469.99. Plus, the vega is also only a single fan model, so it will likely not be as quiet or cool as well. If rx 56 vega and 1070 are same price then vega is better, but for $70 more and for one with a much better cooling solution I decided I could live with 95% of the gpu power.

bryanW1995 thanx for insight on price this is what i was asking for.
I was going to buy gtx 1070 for 405$ but then my temptation got good of me and i ended up spending extra 100$ and bought gigabyte gtx 1080.
I also bought a taichi and 1700x combo. After his i was out of bucks for ram. I think my friend will cover that for me.Dou you think i overkilled?
There's deal on cooler master MasterLiquid Lite 120 do you think it can work on overclocked ryzen? as i am short on bucks i am looking for cheapest cooler like 30 to 40 max.

For a 1700X? I would go with the 240mm MasterLiquid Lite, if you are going with any of those. I have a 120mm Lite on this R5 1600 OCed to 3.8Ghz, and it's barely enough. You have two more cores, that are higher binned. Go for the 240mm, if the case allows. (You need room to mount it, obviously.)
