I think it's 3DMark2002 that has an Apache type of helicopter scene? Yeah, that runs too fast on modern PCs.Wasn’t there something called 3-D mark??
Also, Quake RTX timedemo would run fast too?

That's nothing more than a pita. Disable it on the fresh install and it's one less thing to deal with. Not to mention not having to login to msft and let them skim metrics. I disable secure boot as well since it tends to.m be a pain as well.bitlocker
unplug the damned cable and install offline. Or use something other than the home version. I don't get most of this BS by using an enterprise version and blocking MSFT domains in pi-hole to completely cut them off. If "I" want an update I'll go fetch it off their portal based on any security alerts/news RE something they've done yet again to FU the OS ad leave a gaping hole somewhere. Any time I let them do anything automagically I usually end up spending a fair amount of time figuring out WTF they jacked up in the process.prevent Windows from using Bitlocker
I have a win11PRO installer and key. full retail. it required me to go online to install it. its BS because i do NOT want to use my MS account for login.unplug the damned cable and install offline. If I have to use W then I want it to work properly w/o all of the gimmicks they've been rolling out the past couple of years like ads int he start menu, disabling key options, removing things, adding crap, and so on. After a fresh install I tend to go about running scripts to disable a ton of stuff and then boot into Linux and rip the guts out of certain things to make sure they don't come back.
If I could port a couple of key things over to Linux I would have been done with this dumpster fire long ago. Unfortunately being well versed in both OS options helps figure out F-tards issues as well when they start whining about something not working.
They sell keys online for $20. It's a scam as if you've ever bought a machine with it installed already.... Nevermind.full retail
You're using a pice power connector for the TL fan controller correct?Well im back online mostly. all updated done, windows installed, games redownloading now, all support software and drivers done.....L connect 3 version 2.0.17 is installed because 2.0.18 had issues. Well, im still having issues with my TL fan controller being detected. It was working and then after a reboot isnt working.
ive tried two TL fan controllers, and switched USB headers on the motherboard. hasnt made a difference. both TL controllers are just intermittently connecting and recognized by windows. the SL fan controller works flawlessly whcihever USB header its in
Yes- 6 pin PCIe connector for power and USB headers for controlYou're using a pice power connector for the TL fan controller correct?
It's possible that you have a defective firmware causing your issues. Or maybe Lian Li had a batch of bad controllers. Hard to say really.Yes- 6 pin PCIe connector for power and USB headers for control
The fans have power and spin. the LED fans have no lighting, the LCD fans have the screen lit with the Lian Li logo, they spin but dont have any RGB and the controller doesnt show up in the device manager.
I could buy one bad controller...but it seems unlikely that two would just be bad?
based on reddit, there seem to be a number of people ever since the recent firmware/software updates having wonky issues. for the fuck of it i just swapped the USB headers again and now it works. who the hell knows. it sure doesnt. It's possible that you have a defective firmware causing your issues. Or maybe just a firmware software mismatch?
Hopefully you don't have a flaky USB header on the motherboard.based on reddit, there seem to be a number of people ever since the recent firmware/software updates having wonky issues. for the fuck of it i just swapped the USB headers again and now it works. who the hell knows. it sure doesnt.
with the headers swapped (again) now the TL controller reconnected and is recognized.
i could buy one...but both of them? and if so why would the SL controller not be affected at all. its been plugged in the same USB header as the TL controllers have been. i just switch them back and forth, and the SL controller works on either header without fail.Hopefully you don't have a flaky USB header on the motherboard.
I blame the black GPU in an all white build! 🤣So far on the downgraded firmware the fan controller seems to be fine
Newest issue is I have a bad fan. Tl led fan number 2 has started making an awful noise

Just outside return window too…so now need to do RMA
Anyone else feel like there’s a ghost in this machine
