I thought you just take the silver pans back to the table. Aren't the plates just for salad?
wouldn't you rather just stick your fork in every pan as you walk up and down the buffet line?

3 big plates. Who wants to stand in the buffet line 10 times?

I'm going to go with the smaller plates. With the big piles, you get full and you will have to leave food on your plate to throw away. With the small plates you eat, and if you are still hungry you go back, and less food is wasted. Also if something is not so good on your plate, or you are just stick of it, you don't have to throw out an entire mountain of it.
i think so, but also is the b line you wear into the patterned rug going to and from the buffet.
you an never know what people are truly thinking under the veil of a paper napkin and a glass of ice water.
any reason why you should care what they are t hinking?
i like to leave a very unassuming footprint out in public.
i care to the extent that i dont want these people thinking I am a slob.

fukett...it's a buffett...how many of the other patrons do you know? Why would you care if someone you don't know thinks you're a slob? Folks generally don't go to the "all-you-can-eat" places because of the quality of the food...I've yet to hit a buffet of any kind that had excellent food...some that were good enough to come back to, some that were "meh", most that were "OMFG! I think I got ptomaine from that sh*thole!"

Usually that's true, but Vegas (and casinos in general, actually) does have some really excellent buffets.
