The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. chrome has its own issues. it too happily gives up ram when minimized, perhaps this is good for folks with no ram, but if your system is busy burning/encoding and you minimize, then you get the system stall/thrashy thrashy as you bring the window back up. firefox doesn't do that.
 
If you don't need the add-ons, Chrome's a good choice. I use it (and all the other browsers since I design web pages). It's nice, slick and fast. 😉
