EDIT:
Wonder how long it takes for them to send an email. I turned off my filtering and requested password again.

After reading how my filter works it would have put any spam in my bulk mail box so I haven't got any mail from them for some reason. Anyone else having this problem? Could someone maybe test the forgot password link to see if it works?

Deterium (L15)
Solar Plant (L20)

Those 4 are the most important in the game, without them, nothing's possible.

Here's the recommended build order:

M is for Metal, K is for Crystal, D is for Deterium and S is for Solar Plant:

S1 M1 M2 S2 M3 M4 S3 K1 K2 S4 M5 D1 S5 M6 K3 S6 D2 D3 S7 K5 D4 S8 D5

So when do we build a shipyard/start actually looking at stuff? I only just realized that it takes Deterium to even view the galaxy. I'm currently finished D1, following that list.

Opera: 10 D per view, as many times as I want to see it. (Browser cache FTW).

I've got a little over 800 D right now with no other way to use it. May as well see who's around me

You could also create a second copy of the session (Ctrl +N in IE, "Duplicate" in Opera, I'm sure FF has some way of doing it too, but don't know off the top of my head)

I'm just getting my first small cargo, so I'm gonna be paying our (i) neighbors a visit pretty soon.

mweaver, when you do a search for the user, the coordinates show up next to their name. Or you can go to the Alliance -> members list and view all of our coordinates, who's online, etc.

i just learned i have a dude i could attack within my own galaxy, but his clan is ranked 13th. he has no ships no nothing, but TONS of resources.

I avoid guild members, and they avoid me. There are too many idle targets to hit without starting a guildwar. Since I'm in 2:54, I look for targets from 2:30 to 2:70. I have hit a slight majority of all idle targets in those areas. Travel times are about 4 hours round trip.
I follow-up when the pickings are good. I could use another 8 ships, but I want my first colony this week.

working on getting my 4th fleet. im sending out 3 right now. but i get extra cargos left. need to utilize them all. almost got it done. been sending another 3 cargos out to get some more minerals. ive been jumping like crazy that last 2 days in the alliance. up to 203 points. number 11 in the alliance. i need to catch basar! here i come.

Hmm my travel time to a system next to mine is 4 hour round trip. Would the next system after that also be 4 hours? I am clueless how the systems are connected... like I'm in 1:131, so to get to 1:129 do I go through 1:130 first or straight to 1:29 hence a 4 hour trip ??

u can see travel time by going into shipyard and sending a fleet. just play with the coordinate and it changes the time for you. all my fleets are busy so i cant check. ill check in like 10minutes when i have one available. let me know if u do it first.
