Brownies: Edge or center?

I was just informed by a coworker who was browsing through my thinkgeek catalog that he thinks the all-edge brownie pan is stupid, because center brownies > edge brownies.

I'm having trouble grasping the depths of his stupidity for holding this opinion.

Clearly, edge brownies are superior; they have both high-milk-absorbency and chewy areas.

You're doing brownies wrong if that's the case. That's probably why you have the fail people that like the center. They've never had good brownies where the edge is soft, moist and delicious with just a hint of chewiness.
