I read this too fast. Thought the title said "Brown says he'll pull attack ads if Whitman dies". Then I thought, I didnt even know she was sick...

Just think of all the billions spent on this election, and all the big screen 3D tv's that could buy. What a waste. Some people simply do have way too much money. And if they write a check for millions to elect some guy, how many millions do they expect back for their investment? Guess we will all find out the hard way after next tuesday.
ANd you thought you were angry and that things were bad now... hehe

Campaign ads are a big source of profit for media companies, so good luck getting the media to say much about reducing money in elections.

Yup... a nice infusion of cash into the local economies.
Not all that much, apparently; George Will said that the total spent in this 2-year election cycle will be about the same amount that American consumers spend in a year - on yoghurt.

her209, I'm not saying they don't exist. I'm saying I haven't seen them. I've been wondering wtf she has been doing with her money because I don't see or hear jack shit FOR Meg Whitman, I mostly hear things attacking her. Obviously her campaign is terrible if she's spent 100m+ dollars and I can't tell you the last time I heard an ad for her or against Jerry Brown, but the last time I heard an anti-Meg ad was driving in to work when I flipped the radio on for about 20 minutes.
