My Asrock Z87E-ITX board has a sliding retention mechanism to secure the GPU. While I was attempting to carefully remove the video card, I ensured multiple times that the retention mechanism was slid all-the-way back. It still snapped the sliding part of the retainer.
Is this a standard part that can be replaced? I'm hoping Asrock will send another, but I've got a feeling they'll ask me to RMA the whole board or something; and I don't want to do that.
