OK so i put the MS into my Sony p-150 7.2mp digicam the wrong way and it bent one of the pins so bad it is impossible to put a MS into the cam anymore. SOOOOOO depressed you can't even imagine!
So i went to best buy and turns out i never purchased an extended warranty but they will ship the cam for free to Sony for me for repair. I went ahead and did that and they estimated anywhere between $75-150 for the repair. So depressed i went over and bought a Sony p-200 right afterwards. My sister is going to pay for the p-150's repair and keep it for herself.
So i come home and open it and the p-200 does NOT fit onto the p-100/150's docking station!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now i must sell that to my sis and buy myself a new one.
i wish i had just not messed up my cam =\

The only I/O port is on the bottom, it is a single connector designed to plug into either the supplied USB 2.0 / AV cable or the optional Sony Cyber-shot Station docking cradle. The basic camera package includes the dual-purpose cable for transferring images to the computer and displaying images and movies on a TV. The video signal can be set for NTSC or PAL standard.

actually for the size/price of the p150 and p200 they are awesome cams and beat out most canons aswell especially for the size. I researched the p150/200 vs the new canon sd500 and the sony won hands down. Was very happy with my 150 and the 200 is smaller, lighter, and has manual white balance settings

yes however i am retarded for being impatient... i don't know how long sony will take to repair and i have a party coming up, that and i might never trust the cam to be in perfect condition again.

as for CF/CFII >* eh cam's using that media tend to be larger, granted MS are expensive they aren't that much more expensive like they use to be and i already have the media so

Again, whats the point of buying another dock when you can connect it with a usb cable?

because i like having a docking station? because i want the remote? because i don't want the camera just laying on my desk or hanging off of it? because the docking station charges the cam aswell while the usb cable does not?

hehe... and i didn't take the best buy reps word for how much it will cost, he said an "estimate" of 70 and said it never costs what the estimate is so i asked my friend hwo use to work in the best buy camera department, granted he hasn't worked there in 2 years

oh and yes i am a slave to accesories lol, plus a dock just helps keep the cam in better shape and i never have to open any of the side doors/panels
i'm the kind of guy who keeps everythign in perfect condition and hangs on to every box, manual, etc

I know my Canon won't let me put in the SD card backwards. Bad camera design?
