Broke down, bought a Honda!!!

Wow, Honda is whoopin ass so far. Had no idea it would come to this.

I test drove a 2004 Accord and was extremely impressed, much better than 6th generation IMO.

Planning on test driving the Audi tomorrow.

IMO the Audi is a better looking car.

Honda Accord is not a Civic, it's an Accord.
Am I confused?

Doh. read it wrong.

Well, I should have just wrote "becuase it's not a fvcking honda" 😉

Would really love this car.
Now just need to find one for $15k 🙂

Anyone test drive a V6 and a 4 cylinder in the 7th generation accord???

I am not impressed with the V6 of the 5th and 6th gen accords at all.

Much rather have the 4 cyl w/ the manual for the gas mileage.

I meant to vote for Honda because having to depend on an unreliable car sucks.

PS: Drive both cars. If you got to have the Audi, get it. Otherwise go with a well maintained Honda.

audi looks much much better but i don't like the accord either. if i have to pick i'd pick the accord, but if it were up to me i'd shop for a maxima... it's more practical and has more power than the accord.

My friend owns an Audi A4 and there's more room in the Accord, if that's something you're looking for. When we play golf, it's quite a hassle to fit two normal golf bags in the back. You have to wiggle them around to get them in there, while the Accord fits them without the hassle.

What year Maxima are you talking about?

I love the new style Maxima but they are a bit too much.

I want to stay in the $14k-$16k range tops.

If you want a car to keep, the choice is obvious - a three years newer car from anyone but Audi is a much better bet.

The A4 is cooler though.

im talking about the 00'-03' maxima. surely they looked quite a bit weird to me at first, and then it grew on me and i actually think it looks better than the accord/camry sedans. you can find a used one easily with $14k. find a 2003 if you can... it has 255 horses and 246ft-lb of torque...

The V6 in the 7th gen is a totally different beast. The 4 banger is also better then any previous Accord 4 banger (at least that was available in this country😉)
