Damnit, now I'm weak too.:p I just ordered a PowerBook myself, although not as fancy as lilcam's:

12" PowerBook
867mhz
640MB RAM
40GB HD
Airport Extreme Card
Carrying case
iPod 15GB

The grand total was $2162, but I'm selling the iPod for $220, whereas it only cost me $169, so I came out $50 ahead on that, not to mention the $200 rebate. The final cost is only $1742. Now, if Apple would just hurry up and ship it.;)

hey now, $2500 was not the cost of just the laptop, you got an Ipod too. People will form a lynch mob proclaiming how expensive apples are.
So he paid $2100 for the laptop, still a total ripoff considering the ~$600 deals lately.

wow, i didn't know the $600 laptops had 15" screens, had the features of the apple, and were ultralight. perhaps you could enlighten us all by pointing us to the proper hot deal threads.
