Because he - like many other people - would love to play in the NFL. In WWE, the winners are predetermined. Any guy who 'roids up... I mean, who works out like him has got to love competition. Winning because McMahon says you win isn't as good as winning because you punished the other team.

You guys are nuts if you think the Vikings have signed him to compete for a roster spot. Hes a project, as all NFL scouts have said, and he will likely be given a spot on the practice squad until they decide to add him to the roster or cut him loose.

If he gets on the practice squad he probably wont play until next year, and only if hes progressed enough. Except for if the Vikings get short on defensive linemen.

Unless he plays spectaculer in training camp he wont make the roster, but its a pretty safe bet he'll make the practice squad.

from what i heard, he was upset with the wwe for putting him up in meaningless matches. he had to job to the the undertaker too many times, and feud with mid-carders, and so on.

I would agree with some of that. There is just no way a guy can come into the NFL and expect to play right away if he hasn't played since high school. I don't care how big, strong, and fast you are, you still have to learn the techniques and the schemes. I would love to see him make it (I'm a Vikings fan) though. I think they'll work with him and see how he does. He definitely has the power and the athleticism to make it though.

Well, the Vikings had to see something in him to sign him. He is undersized IMO to be a true run-stopping DT, but he is about the right size for a good combination passrushing/run stopping DT. He is very powerful...

He'd have to put on some fat if he wanted to be a DT. You have to be a big, blubbering fatso to play DT, otherwise the O-lineman will be able to move you around.

No, Ted Washington is a DT, Keith Washington is a DE. And Ted Washington weighs 365lbs, so he's CLEARLY not a DE.
