Keith Washington is a DT. I agree that he CAN be a good DE but he has to have alot of experience learning football. One thing that HBO show on the Cowboys show me is that they study alot of film and work on plays all the time.
No, Ted Washington is a DT, Keith Washington is a DE. And Ted Washington weighs 365lbs, so he's CLEARLY not a DE.
yep, you're right. I was thinking of when keith traylor and ted washington used to play together for the bears.
HAH HAH HAH! Keith Traylor rules. I'll never forget that time that he grabbed a fumble (or an INT, can't remember) and tried to run it back for a TD. He was lumbering along at a good 2 miles an hour before he was tackled at like the 15-yard-line. He had to be put on oxygen on the sidelines after that.

Yes, they're both huge beasts of men.

Well, the Vikings had to see something in him to sign him. He is undersized IMO to be a true run-stopping DT, but he is about the right size for a good combination passrushing/run stopping DT. He is very powerful...
He'd have to put on some fat if he wanted to be a DT. You have to be a big, blubbering fatso to play DT, otherwise the O-lineman will be able to move you around.

Not true AT ALL. There are many DT's (John Browning on the Chiefs, for one) that are of similar size. You don't have to be fat to be a DT, but it helps to be bulky and POWERFUL.

He's going to lose a lot of credibility if he does make it and people see how he will be moderate at most. I would see him having a hard time establishing himself in the WWE afterwards...

Bill Goldberg was a former NFL player for a year or two before he was cut. Then he turned to wrestling and blew up. Thats how it usually is. Unsuccessfull football players become professional wrestlers. The rock played college ball but unfortunatly had some injury that wouldnt allow him to play anymore. And if Im correct, I think Bob Sapp tried professional football at some point but failed, and now he's the biggest K-1 star in Japan.....he's a helluva big guy too and he destroys anything he comes face to in the ring, with the exception of Ernesto Hoost.

My question is why is he doing this? He's already making millions with the WWE and is one of the top stars. He'll probably be nothing but a bench warmer with the Vikes.
Because he - like many other people - would love to play in the NFL. In WWE, the winners are predetermined. Any guy who 'roids up... I mean, who works out like him has got to love competition. Winning because McMahon says you win isn't as good as winning because you punished the other team.

I doubt very much he "roids" up. have you ever seen him wrestle when he was in college? he was huge then. they test a lot better in NCAA then in the NFL.

he may not do great in the NFL but gotta give him credit for at least trying. He has the size, speed and desire. Lets see if he can make it. either way he is doing what he wants.

If nothing else he can always go back to the WWE.

are you talking about that big black guy ?
he looks looks big, but he can't fight for anything.
Some tiny whiteguy knocked his ass out good with 1 punch. Looked like he was about to cry.
For someone that big, he can't even take a punch.
