Yeah, gurkhas are badass, always have been. Was going to ask if you guys have seen the Bishnu story but I see Anubis already linked it.

Going on the attack in a confined space against overwhelming odds and better armed opponents. "Brass balls" doesn't seem to quite cover it...

Actually, Rambo would have been storming the checkpoint with the Taliban. They were "freedom fighters," after all, and he already helped them in Afghanistan.

As expected, your post is idiotic. They were attacking him from all sides with gunfire, rockets, grenades, etc., and you think that sounds like a walk in the park. Barricade or not, that would be a situation where anyone but a well trained soldier would be crippled with fear.

That's actually a combat tactic that they take advantage of. You might see it cowardless but we'd do the same thing too. Anybody could make a similar argument that we hide behind our weapons crouched like cowards miles away where we just have to press a single button.
 
the man was god, however, he used both his hands the entire time (unlike what the title of this thread indicates).

Crippling fear is a symptom of the man, not the training. I am positive the guy shat himself as anyone would. What keeps the soldiers going is religious zeal, just like the militants he shot at. You'd scoff at their awards, so I scoff at his. Celebrating murder isn't civilized.
 
Much respect must be laid at the feet of those who rise in defense of good and use their might for right. Let this soldier's heroics stand firm as an example to other on how to deal with evil. No mollycoddling, just good, old-fashioned ass kicking.

He is surrounded by 30 men.. with limited ammo, and you think religion is what drives him? Ever heard of survival instinct?.. Oh.. wait you don't believe in evolution do you?
