What makes it so boring? Weren't you having fun like a day or 2 ago?

Just got really repetitive, also once you unlock everything, which is easily done within a day or two, there really is no point in playing. Sometimes i feel as if I'm pumping 2 clips into a guy, and he wont even drop, yet he takes 2 shots at me and I'm dead. The damage system just doesn't seem right, i don't know. I was having fun with it, and then i just got a bad feeling inside of me, and i don't even want to play it anymore.

problem seems clear to me.. your teammates suck.. and arnt buffing you or your damage.
Heavy+kevlar+metabolism+gun damage = god.

play with good people instead of COD wannabes.

Man I don't ever remember PC gaming being so confusing. You can't trust review sites, I get it, but users are extremists with the love and hate. Demos while they are nice to try out don't typically give you enough of a taste and devs are now like car salesmen. WTF!

it still needs some work but its far from a "bad" game

id wait prolly for a few patches.
but it has possibilities for sure.

This is probably one of the most fun games I've ever played. The only bug I battle with is the sound bug on certain maps and the random letter font change, but who cares about that? Kinda adds a little more style 😛

This is probably one of the best reviews I've seen:

Here's another really good review:

When SplashDamage announced the first DLC will be free to make up for the launch issues, I was sold.

See you in game, bitches!

He doesn't have old drivers. He made a typo, and the 11.5a hotfix was supposed to fix some things in Brink. It...didn't.

that makes way more sense 😀

Haven't been able to actually play it much so far, but I'm rapidly losing hope there is a good game under there. The parkour system has the old "Great when it works, not when it suddenly and inexplicably doesn't." problem one button do-everything controls always do. The map design is terrible - must pass through chokepoints directly next to the enemy team's spawn. The weapons desperately need some kind of description, not just stats - I'd like to know if that's a fully auto AR or a three round burst, that would be much more helpful then a new moustache.

And then there's the bugs. Performance and rendering problems aren't enough, apparently. Sound suddenly dropping out of a match completely, unless you reconnect. Players disappearing from the scoreboard and turning invisible while still able to shoot you. And the server browser....how did they miss that bug?

I havent touched it much, played some, and the recently released $15 Section 8: Prejudice has won most of my limited playtime. so much more polished, only real downside is that it hates alt+tab, but it runs great in windowed mode :awe:

I really wish this were cheaper. I hope when it is, people will still be online but... not getting my hopes up. 🙁

Look at Battlefield 2. Great reviews, lots of hype, totally shit game. Useless patch after useless patch, preorder/release day buyers got screwed, etc.

And this is after playing the demo and liking it.

So yet another crap fps game?

God damn it. I remember when every fps game that came out was amazing.

That period of time never existed.

It's not a crap FPS. It's a GREAT online multiplayer objective-based team game.
