Sophia Loren is about that age, although I haven't seen a recent pic of her lately, she's got to doing better than Brigitte Bardot.
Last I saw her, Raquel Welch was holding up pretty well into her 60's too.

She's 73. I wonder what you'll look like when you're 73.
...if you even make it that far.
Excuse me?

Meaning it is presumptuous to expect living so long and if one does then perhaps they ought be content 'nuff and not so concerned with appearance.

Sofia Loren really is an exception...

woah this is really weird.
my co-worker was just telling me how his girl was watching Grumpier Old Men last night on VHS and we got into a discussion about how that woman in the movie is hot for an older lady, and how his girlfriend was kind of drunk and kept on going on and on about how hot that old woman is.
then I mentioned to him that she was a gilf.
then I saw this thread 5 minutes later.

Exactly. It's true that she hasn't aged well, but then she's not really required to, is she? Looking at some of the old pictures, she was extremely hawt back in the day, and she's definitely made her mark on the world, so she certainly can't complain.

Kim Basinger seems to have aged well, along with Michelle Pfieffer(?) and a few others.
Lots of gals who were big stars in their 20's (during the 80's) and now in their late 40's early 50's still look decent. Scary as it seems I think Christina Applegate has to be getting close to 40, and Jenna Elfman too.
But yes, they will not be so nice at age 70.
EDIT:
I lied. Both are 36. Depending on the photos they could pass for college chicks.
Madonna and Courtney love wouldnt have been so bad if it werent for all the drugs and/or plastic surgery.
Loni Anderson is another one. I saw her on the special features of my WKRP DVD and she looks like an Ugly Sticks wet dream. All that cheap or experimental plastic surgery during the 80's finally caught up with her.
However, most of the professional models from that era knew how to take care of themselves.
Kathy Ireland, Christie Brinkly, Stephanie Seymore and others are still looking good.
She's 73.

Bardot, who is 68 years old and married to a right-wing National Front party executive, writes in the book published this month that Muslims are "Islamizing France," that immigrants are trashing churches where they seek asylum and that homosexuals are "fairground freaks."
