Ooops.
Politically required posturing FTW.

I'm glad we killed the AQ son of a bitch and his friends. The right to self-defense is universal.

I agree with palehorse on that self defense thing, as terrorists all over the world also justify their actions by saying we are defending ourselves and expelling the hated foreign devils.

Except terrorists usually stay in their own countries and foreign oppressors can go all around the world using the same justifications.

Tell me again palehorse, what are we doing in Iraq in the first place? Or maybe you should direct that question to your soon to be your ex commander and thief.

Please explain the bolded statement as to why so many people of different nationalities are being captured/killed in Iraq & Afghanistan.

Plus all the differentn nationalities that show up in conflicts with Israel and were involved in 9/11.

Or do you consider none of them to be terrorists, just freedomfighters?

When they intentionally target and slaughter completely innocent civilians for the sake of slaughtering completely innocent civilians?

They do?!?

You are once again demonstrating a complete lack of understanding on this subject. Please exit stage far-left and begin removing your head from your ass...

I think invading Iraq was a mistake. but, you knew that already.

I wish you had the balls to come right out and call me a fucking terrorist instead of dancing around the issue all the time like a i love you in church.

bah, you make me sick with your self-righteous basement-inspired rants of this subject. You don't know the first g'damn thing about waging war or defending the weak and innocent.

You haven't contributed a thing to this world. You will die an impotent arrogant loser.

Sure is, and thanks to your interpretation I can now go down to the bad part of the neighboring town and bust into a black person or mexican or even poor white person's house and kill them before they show up to harm me like others of their sort have been. Right?

"Terrorism is the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion. There is no internationally agreed definition of terrorism. Most common definitions of terrorism include only those acts which are intended to create fear (terror), are perpetrated for an ideological goal (as opposed to a lone attack), and deliberately target or disregard the safety of non-combatants. Some definitions also include acts of unlawful violence and war."

The above seems to me to be the universally accepted definition of Terrorism... IF the shoe fits then wear it.... (Idiom)...

I don't mind being labeled as what ever I get labeled cuz it is not relative to my prosecuting the objective. In most situations there exist two opposing sides where each refer to the other in the same manner and often using the same words... IT IS Normal.

The issue is IMO, IS the action prudent and if so why so and if not why not and what course of action ought to be undertaken to remedy it.

The military are the vehicle through which objectives are effected that require armed force. The military are no more citizens of their country than the folks homeless in the streets. That they are in harms way is the responsibility of the Government policy and its objectives. Folks in the US agree to undertake this military role for a myriad of reasons as do Cops and other LAW enforcers.. I figure the Beat Cop is not much different than a Soldier but for the venue...
Ergo, being in military does not give special status beyond the one vote and one opinion. It is the opinion that when expressed indicates the direction of the vote. Remember always, the citizen taxpayers fund the operations of military so they too have a stake in it all... we all do...
