And I would have agreed that the concern was valid. The Giants are a weird, streaky team. Been that way for years.

Yea I've been calling for Garrett to run the ball more for years, they finally are, and the results speak for themselves. That said I'd like to see them get Dunbar and the underwear thief involved a little more.

I think Dunbar and Randle can run the ball pretty well. I mean, not as good as Murray, but with how that line is playing, they will still be getting 4+ yards most of the time, which is enough.

The defense, on the other hand, is not playing that well. Scandrick and McClain are the only noteworthy players so far. The front seven gets absolutely no push up front. Ware already has as many sacks as the entire Dallas team, and they really can't stop the run. Thankfully the offense controls the clock well enough to keep them off the field...

Their defense is making stops when it has to. They are much improved from last season and Lee is hopefully coming back before the end of the season (when the games will actually count).

I am rather pleased with how the schedule was laid out, because we have a good stretch where we can pick up some easy wins so the hard games aren't as win or go home.

Is it me or you can't help with the feeling of all the damn games in the NFL are now rigged to fit a certain narrative? Like this shit of a game between the Falcons (ca-cawk cacawk) and the Lions (meow meow)?

Why do I get pissed off watching the Falcons pissing this game away?

Edit: watching mike smith with that shit eating grin on his face after that last truly offensive offensive series make me want to book a flight to London and shit in his mouth so he has something to smirk about.

Atlanta coaches all taking a long vacation after the season. Like retirement.

Mike Smith will never get another team. Feel bad for Tice. Like the guy.

Bears may surprise the Pats today. Bears play much better on field turf and lots of guys feel like their backs are against the wall. Forte gonna come out in zone when the defence goes into soft man though the pats will run lots of zone because cutlet is a pansy.

Damn. 3 drives, 3 Geno Smith interceptions.

Can't compete playing QB like that, I thought the Jets would prevail at home today in a much-needed win but if your gonna just hand it over 3 times in a row your done for, Orton has been playing pretty decent since he stepped in and the Jets D must be thinking "WTF, this shit again!"..

Sunday Ticket isn't always worth it, but today it is. Pats-Bears is as bad as you could expect so far. Everything else seems to be a better option

Pat's now up 17-7 vs Bears, Cutler threw a pick that was negated by an defensive illegal contact on Browner, Christ the receiver ran up into him and that a penalty?, no wonder we're seeing all the high-scoring games, with the Ref's calling any contact as "illegal" it's damm near impossible to play DB without getting flagged for something. Pats need to win this game as heavyweights Denver, Green Bay, and Indy loom ahead in the schedule.

Wow, 3 TD's in 57 SECONDS by the Pat's, score now is 38-7, Cutler was in the grasp and trying to flip the ball forward, he gets stripped and the ensuing fumble is returned for a TD, the QB many called "washed up" a month ago is 18/21, 203 yds, 4 TD's, eat it Dilfer, your sorry ass was one of those who said Brady looked old and "lost"..

Bears are terrible

Hard to blame the D when the offense has one drive in the first half and your 21 million dollar QB lacks the smarts to just eat the ball and go down and take the sack, instead he gets stripped-sacked yet again and the result is another TD, Urlacker was right, this was a bad idea to sign him for that kind of $$

Last week was the good Geno, this week was the I know how to holster the grenade after pulling the pin Geno.

Teams done a hell of a job leveling the score since then though.

Yea, I see Geno's been benched and with those stats I think Rex had no choice. Jets are running the ball well again so they still have a decent shot of pulling this one out.

Red Zone guy just said Bear fan's would probably blame that last Gronk TD on Cutler lol

I'd say Gronk is now 100% back from his injuries, making circus TD catches, shaking off defenders like fleas, great to see, they will need his abilities in the upcoming weeks, next week Denver@NE will be the game to watch, I suspect it will be a tad closer then this one.. 😛

I don't understand Jacksonville. Are there scouts just that bad? It can't be possible to continuously draft (in the early first round, btw) awful QBs.

Should be a good game. Manning's probably gonna have some choice words for THEIR scoreboard operator :colbert:

Neither Seahawks or Panthers want to score. They find creative ways to cough up the ball in the red zone. Both look terrible.
