You would think by now that they would be actively searching the bags of suspicious people. But, I guess not, everyone is too touchy, feely these days to actually hurt someones feelings.

If I lived in London, New York, Moscow, etc... and saw a Middle Eastern man on a train with a large bag, you better believe I would be moving to the other side of the train. Call me racist if you want, I just call it intelligent.

Plus, there is no excuse for someone not taking this guy down.

i would probably get on another bus, actually.

And it's a damn shame. It's a shame that honest people should be subjected to such suspicion due to others who share their physical characteristics.

To... just for example... send a message that they can still attack at any time or maybe just to shut the London public transport system down again. Either way I think it worked.

Maybe the explosives that were found in a car at Watford station (or whichever they left the car at)after 7/7 were to be used in this attack. Like a cache of explosives for the second wave. Hence they were duds.

^ Total speculation.

So were they all duds?

No, they were all detonators. Not actuall bombs.

What's the point of that?

The point of terrorism is to instill terror. This does almost as good of job of that as the bombs, just without the aftermath of misery.

I doubt this is the case though. Since when have terrorists been squeemish about taking innocent lives? It's possible one of their own had a brief moment of human dignity and sabotaged the explosives. Hard to say at this point until we know more.

He's referring to the guy who was carrying the bag that blew up. And you disagree?

Gotta find them first.

One would think that with the bazillion cameras around London they'd be able to pick up on these things.

two weeks ago the claim of responsibility gave a one month warning be4 resuming attacks. Perhaps this is a midpoint reminder?

hopefully he's actaully guilty and can assist the investigation...i saw the police walking him away on camera

I heard over the radio that they have orders to shoot to kill.

WTF?!?! Again?

They need to start rounding up people and torturing them for info.

When the Middle East and Muslims in general actually start trying to fix the problem instead of giving halfass apologies maybe the rest of the world will stop labeling all Arabs as Muslim terrorists?

I've got 0 problems with friends that are Muslims and Arabs, but that is because I know them. Just picture yourself as a black man in the deep south in their early 1800's and you came across abunch of white men...Bottom line is, we fixed this problem, except for the occasional inbred retard who doesn't know better and neo-nazi skinheads; however, it's not like their is an entire subculture like there is in Islam, Wahabism, dedicated to the violent removal of non-Muslims from this planet.
