Heh, Obama wants to ship her out of the country.

PS. 'Take your husband with you'

surely he can find a better Secretary of State than Kerry, Richardson, or Clinton.

throwing out a high-profile name like that seems like a "look at what my left hand is doing and ignore what's in the right" kind of maneuver.

I think Clinton would be a mistake. Her job is to represent what Obama and his advisers want, not what SHE wants. I think she'd have problems being just a messenger when less than a year ago she was expecting to be President.

Never underestimate Obama's wisdom. Mccain/Palin did and look at them now...

I can see it now. As soon as he gets off the plane in Japan...

"Well hey there fellas. I hear you got these little hotties in school girl uniforms, where do I go for some of that action?"

In all seriousness I think Hillary would be a terrible choice, she's a bitch, Bill would be better.

Bill would be yet another slap in the face to Hillary.
She did help him immensely by campaigning pretty rigorously...

Bill Clinton I'm assuming, and yes I would agree rather than Hillary (backstabbing b!tch)

No way to Bill Richardson

Hillary is probably the most powerful senator now. Why would she give that up to be Sec. of State? I would pick John Kerry, not the open borders advocate Richardson.

You mean like Condoleezza Rice? STFU.

This is right on track here.

Listen to Balt.

I guess that's one way to keep her on a short leash. Plus he gets her to always repeat "BARACK OBAMA" in a positive manner.

Agree. Even if she was asked I don't think she'd want it, more power for her as a senator.

Hillary is becoming quite an effective Senator and apparently loves the job. She would be a good Sec of State (better than Kerry for sure) but I have my doubts she wants it.

Bill Clinton ego and status as a former President makes him problematic as Sec of State. He should be given a special portfolio-maybe solve the Middle East with Tony Blair, or help speed up the negotiations to speed us out of Iraq.

I like both Daschle and Richardson.

Isn't a career public servant usually selected as a secretary of state? I would have never suspected either a senator or a governor...

Spoken as an American citizen, sick and tired of what you conservatives have done to my country when in power, I thank god you are not her... Your days of governning by middle finger are done... Now you can [/Tool lyric] "point that fucking finger up your ass!" =)

It's so wonderful to see Conservatives in the minority again. I hope they never again are in a position to shape American policy.

No, I'm not hot on any of those. Hillary might be a good choice initially, as she and Bill could go a ways towards restoring goodwill toward the US in the international community, but I thing that eventually she would substitute her judgment for Obama's. At which time he could replace her after having more time to search.

I'm a little surprised Colin Powell's name has not come up. He has more experience than the other three.
