The fact of the matter is that we have been VERY successful in preventing the most dangerous of our enemies from ever reaching our shores. We're hunting and fighting them on hundreds of fronts around the world every single day. I'm also not sure what Spidey's point was. The terrorist threat is eternal, regardless of who becomes President. There will always be X number of attacks, attempts, or plots against us, even on our own soil. This fact is something all of us need to accept and live with for the rest of our lives. We also need to ensure our own children grow up with a proper respect and awareness of the threats that exist. Please note that I don't support the "let's all freak out and hide under our beds" paranoia that swept our nation right after 9/11, but we do need to stick with the fight for the long haul and never take our eyes off the ball again.

I gotta agree with Linflas, the police and homeland security are investigating all the available evidence leads, and quite a few its likely no one on this forum have thought of.

The cops and homeland security may owe the American people some reports on their progress, but when full disclosure would almost certainly compromise the law enforcement's ability to investigate, I for one feel that law enforcement would be damn fools to release too much information to the general public, because the chief beneficiary would be the criminals themselves. That and the fact that crimes of this nature tend to attract nutcases all over that confess to a crimes they did not commit, further draining law enforcement resources in tracking down false leads.

Face the facts, its a who done it, and I have no delusions that wild off the walls speculations at extreme distance will advance catching the real perps in any way.
