This show is getting worse. So boring :( Between this and The Pacific this has to be the most disappointing TV season ever.

I couldn't stand the Jesse scenes in the 3rd ep. He misses his girl... I GET IT, I don't need to hear that god damned voicemail message as much as the writers think I do. Luckily I won't have to anymore :awe:

They hammered that home for a reason. Something will come up later with Jesse finding out Walt let her die.

Did you know that syphillis was most likely transmitted to mankind through intimate encounters with sheep?

Just something to think about as you stew and fulminate on your flea-specked, isolated island.

Guess I hit a nerve. What's the matter, can't criticize your pet show? I was a huge fan of the first two seasons of BB, but so far S03 has been boring as fuck.

So what? If/when he found out it'd have the same effect on me as if jesse never called her voicemail in the first place. She's still dead, and Walt still didn't do anything... how does that have anything to do with Jesse calling her voicemail? Being annoyed by the scene just ruins the flow, and shows the writers couldn't find a good way to getting Jesse into the episode so they had to stretch it with that. Jesse is one of the main characters and they tried to put him in as much as possible, but they overdid it. All they needed was him to call once to hear her voice, once to hear that it was no longer in service, and then show him starting to cook again.

The show better get going soon or I'll just jump to a show where writers understand pace. And I mean pace as in proper timing and flow of a story... not this pace:

Is it true in NZ it's called Breaking Baaaaaaaad and they randomly insert short, sharp sheep-shagging scenes to keep you rubes interested? ;)

Season 3 Episode 3:
Written by George Mastras
Directed by Michelle MacLaren

Other eps written by George:
S1E6, S2E2, S2E11

Kinda fuzzy on the past eps, but I wonder if his previous ones were uneventful as well.

Vince only writes a few of them each season, but he's good at his stuff.

Well in fairness to George Mastras the third episode, although boring, was at least more interesting than 1 and 2, which were terribad.

Really? Thanks for sharing your insightful thoughts on that. It's a refreshing new take on the show which we definitely haven't heard you blather on and on about the past few weeks.

If you hate the show so much, stop watching it, and better yet, stop posting about it here.

Like I said earlier, I loved seasons 1 and 2 so I'm willing to give this season the benefit of the doubt and hope it gets better. By the way, last week I made my first ever post about Breaking Bad, so I think you're imagining my "pas few weeks" of blather.

Damn, I may be in the minority here, but I really like how the season is progressing. I think you all just got used to Heisenberg. :)

I think the reason why season 3 is "more boring" when compared to seasons 1 and 2 is because they seem to be progressing the story at a much much slower rate. You can easily spot it if you watch how fast things came together in the season 1 episodes and then watched season 3. They know how popular the show has become are now milking it by slowing things down.

Walt will only know he is in specific mortal danger if Gus tells him so. Do you think Gus will?

Yeah, pretty sure Gus will tell Walt that those two dudes are after him as motivation to get him to cook again. However, I doubt he will tell him that the twins are going to kill him no matter what once business is done.

You watch the show, but you clearly don't understand it. Jesse is Walt's partner, he's got some shady friends, he's in bed with Saul and he's a manipulative weasel. When he finds out Walt stood there and watched his main squeeze die he's going to want revenge. That was the set-up Zippy, they had to show Jesse's obsession with Jane because they had to set up the reason for Jesse to freak-out and go after Walt. If it was just a casual thing that would have seemed out of place.

Holy shit, awesome episode last night. Perfect timing too.. that RV is FUCKED.

I really hope they don't nab Jessie cooking and he turns in Walt, that just seems like such a bullshit way out. It's awesome the Heisenberg is back in action. Skylar, still, is really a stupid, stupid bitch.

Jessie will become a liability to Gus's business with Walt, which I would say given Jessie's participation in Tuco's death and the twins hanging around probably doesn't bode well for him.

True that, but I'm betting they'll make us wait till the end of the season before they erase Jessie.

I'm betting Jessie will try to get cut back into the action by trying to leverage turning Walt in.

Yeah, I am anxious to find out what happens with those hitmen and after Walt completes his 3 months. Has his deal with El Pollo been extended beyond 3 months? Who's side is Pollo on? Guess I have to wait until next week.

I think Gus mentioned Walt has 'a few years' when he was talking to the cleaner fellow. It might be more profitable in the long run for them to keep Walt around and they might forgive him. I am thinking that Walt will find out about it and perhaps shift the blame for the killings onto Jessie, but that old man with the bell is still alive and knows the real story so maybe not.

I thought last night's episode was great. Glad that Walt finally signed the divorce papers to get Skylar out of his life. It looked like she was getting ideas about taking the money and doing something with it to piss him off. I'm interested to see how things will end up with Jesse. I'm thinking either busted or killed, leaning towards killed because if the DEA catches him he will for sure give up Walt in return for leniency.

I started watching last week based on the good things I read here and other forums. I've watched everything and am current. All I can say is WOW. I've never watched a show that I got so emotionally tied to. When Walt is in trouble, I end up feeling guilty - seriously - for like an hour after I watch. I've never had a show that made me feel like that. And the hate I have for Skyler - wow, not healthy.
