This season is so fucking boring. What a shame, was an excellent show.

Really? It's only been two episodes and both have been fucking amazing.

I'm thinking I should not watch it for a while and then watch a bunch of episodes in one sitting b/c this once a week thing requires too much patience and I need my BB fix!

Watched the first 2 shows last night. Pretty good. Will have to finish season1 now and maybe move to 2.

Okay, now it looks like that's how Gus is going to get Walt to start cooking again. Walt will need Gus to protect him and the only incentive Gus has to do that is if Walt it working for Gus.

Walt will only know he is in specific mortal danger if Gus tells him so. Do you think Gus will?

Yep, Gus needs Walt to cook. Can he possibly get better leverage than having Walt and his family in mortal danger? The kind of protection Walt needs can only be provided by somebody with lots of muscle. Gus is the only guy that has it.

Gustavo seems like a nice educated person. Recall he donated some bucks back for the cancer fund during his little DEA trip.

No doubt he will tell Walt about what's going on. But I am going to guess he wants product as exchange. He seems to have a human side about him, so he will advise Walt to make an escape or something like that.

Perhaps there will be a spinoff of the whole White family in danger (retrace fridge pic) and the DEA dealing with the Cartel after the twins are eliminated.

The way I see it, Walt, Jesse or his family dying in Season 3 just seems like it would end the series.

Thought last night's episode was great. Definitely setting a whole lot of things in motion that will surely play out over the rest of the season. It'll be interesting to see if Gus does try to defend Walt. I think he will, partly because he knows his supply of Meth is good stuff, but also because I think he appreciates the professional way Walt did business just as much as Walt did likewise.

Nice to see Danny Trejo back, and while brief, it connected even more of the dots.

each episode has progressed a bit and last night's was better again, though still had a bunch of garbage in it, like all the jesse scenes.

I don't get how they change walt's character every 10 minutes. one minute hes acting like a tough guy, the next he acts like a little girl. they do the same with jesse's character. its annoying

Because they're showing Walt's "split personality" that developed in Season 2. Heisenberg vs. Walt.

yep.

This episode was great... more cooking is on the way and now it's going to be easy for Walt to go and come as he pleases. Skylar is going to use her snatch as the only weapon she has against Walt. And now he has to do the job he only did to help his family to keep himself and his family alive. I hope they capture and torture Skylar.

Skylar exhibits an amazing capacity to treat Walt's actions like they occurred in a vacuum while doing all sorts of unconscionable shit on her own without a hint of remorse. Hopefully the Mexican twins will off her in Walt's place.

I don't totally understand what Walt's motivation is right now to cook? He has what 300k or more? I understand that black guy is protecting him until he finishes making another batch of crystal, but Walt doesn't know that yet? I guess the only way he could be persuaded to start cooking again is if he is aware that his cooking skills are the only thing that is keeping him alive?

I couldn't stand the Jesse scenes in the 3rd ep. He misses his girl... I GET IT, I don't need to hear that god damned voicemail message as much as the writers think I do. Luckily I won't have to anymore :awe:

Your last sentence is exactly why he is going to start cooking again.

Didn't like IFT that much. It was really just beating around the bush. This is coming from someone who's kept up since s1e1.
Was wondering what it stood for last week too, but now we know.

All those scenes of Jesse calling Jane was too excessive. We get the point.
Not sure what the Tortuga bit was about. Unless there was some reason to show the cousins of Tuco work for Juan.

The only real plot progression was Hank's situation, imo.

I think this was a stage-setting episide. We have Walt back at home legally with ability to go and come as he pleases, we know Skylar won't turn him in, we know he has to start cooking again to stay alive and we see that Jessie is still really fucked up but that the lawyer is going to cut him into the mix more. There were a lot of lingering plot points that got cemented by the events of the episode.
