Overall I'm a HUGE fan of this show and this episode left me kinda meh. The whole twins who are badasses and do everything in unison is one of the worst cliches ever and really adds an unneeded cheesy element to the show. I can already tell it's going to ruin the 3rd season for me if they continue that schtick.

Skylar is as annoying as usual, I feel like if they would just talk for 5 minutes without her getting up and throwing a tamtrum that there would be no further problems.

Walt speaking at school seemed a bit out of character. You know for sure that's how his brain works.. but for him to share that with others seems like something he really hasn't done in front of his students before. Walt seemed infinitely troubled in this episode and hopefully now that his wife knows his secret that will fade away.

I really hope it works out because I think this show is brilliant but it isn't looking too good so far.

The twins and exploding truck was a bit cliche. I'll stick with it.

Taking off sunglasses at same time, looking at the same thing, then each other in slow motion.. fucks sake its unbearable already. I really hope they turn it around.

He feels guilty about the plane crash because of the ATC's daughter. He wasn't sharing...he was trying to justify himself and his actions by saying the crash really wasn't that bad by comparison.

That's how I took it anyway. His guilt about the situation is tearing him apart inside and he doesn't know how to deal with it. I'm looking forward to the next episode just to see what Skylar does and how Walt and Jesse interact now.

I can see that but I don't know how guilty he feels. I think he is so grounded in logic and reason that thats how his mind thinks about this.. as nothing significant.

He was quick to try and convince Jessie it wasn't his fault though so you might be right, especially since Jessie said you either own up to who you are or you don't and Walt looked a bit taken back by that.

Spoiler...

I wonder if Jessie is going to find out this season that Walt watched his GF aspirate on her own vomit and didn't do anything about it.

I think the guilt is over riding the logic. :p I'm sure what KLin says in the spoiler tags is going to happen at some point this season as well.

Not a big deal for me. It takes up so little of the show and really doesn't bother me thus far.

Really? It doesn't seem like a complete contradiction to the strength of the writing on the show to have such an obvious cliche?

They may as well have cast the Matrix twins for this role

I wonder if that eyeball Walt dropped under the bed foreshadows a future event.

I am guessing the twins are related to Tuco, his blood brothers or something and they just finished their ritual before they go look for him.

I think that eyeball is from the stuffed animal they showed multiple times last season from the airwreck.

Yep, but they took the time to show him hiding it from Hank, in his pocket and dropping it under the bed later. It's gotta have some worth to show those scenes.

He wasn't hiding the eyeball, he was hiding the piece of cash he found in the pool filter.

Got through season 1, episodes 1-4 last night and today. Instant addiction. Figure it's only going to get better.

Yup, I watched through all of season 1 during the last few days and I'm hooked. Maybe I should pay attention in my chemistry classes...

really? You are in for a treat then. I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons but the first episode this season really left me disappointed. Like with anything I won't just judge and give up after 1 episode, but it was just so wacked out and boring. The beginning scene with the people crawling on the ground really was pissing me off.

Given the history of the show, I'm thinking there is a reason for it. It's only been one episode. The sepia nature of the scenes leads me to believe it's almost like a dream sequence of some sort? I'm not sure, but I have more faith in the writers of this show than to go with something that cliche and not have a deeper meaning or reasoning behind it. I'll give it at least through the next episode and maybe the third before it would begin to bother me.

I feel the same way, the show has been too damn good in the past to give up on it so easily, I just really hope they pull their shit together and at least give these guys personalities.

Like they did with the stuffed animal last season, maybe we won't understand who they are and why they are like that until later in the season. Know what I mean? That's one thing I liked about the show...it's unpredictable. I did NOT see it coming last season when
Jesse's girlfriend died. I thought it was an interesting new character and they wouldn't kill her off that quickly

But who knows. Maybe the twins will be the show jumping the shark. :p I just sure as hell hope not.

Could not stand it. I like smart criminals not idiots. Turned it off after they tried to digest a man in a bathtub and fail.
