Cancel that trip, and go somewhere fun. I went there a couple of years ago. It sucked. If you're really into sightseeing, biking, trekking, etc. Go to Colorado. Now that's fun.
I am going to Branson, Missouri for a week in July.
What is there to do? Any sightseeing, biking, trekking, etc???
Please give me some tips regarding this place
Went to Colorado last July. It was good but sleeping at 9500 ft was not fun.
LOL! I was going to say this, but didn't know of a nice way to say it. I guess I should have just been blunt like you.The place is like a hick tourist trap.

The place is like a hick tourist trap...a lot like Gatlinburg TN.

They are having their annual Anchovie festival in July.Silver Dollar City is fun for a day or half a day, but other than that it's basically shows and crappy tourist trap places like the Titanic "museum" and Ripley's Believe it or Not. If you're not into family comedy shows, music shows or a combo of the two you'll be bored to tears after a day, if that.
The average age of tourists there is probably close to 65.
I grew up in Springfield (~30-40 minutes north) and we basically only went to go to Silver Dollar City on occasion.
