I need new front brake pads.
Prices are $25-$90 for the front pads.
This is for my truck, so performance is something I care less about.
What should I be looking for though? I can choose from semi-metallic and ceramic.
I can buy the following models:
Duralast Gold Cmax $60
Duralast Gold $42
Duralast (cheapest model) $27
Pfc-Carbon-Metalic $70
Any advice?
UPDATE:
I got my brakes in the mail today. The box was damaged.
I got the Duralast Gold. Since the box was damaged, I have to ask a fairly silly question. Are the shims integrated onto the main piece of each pad? I have 4 brake pads total and no additional parts. The picture on autozones web site makes it look like they are integrated.
I inspected the actual pads and everything looks OK.
Thanks for the help!
