BRAGGING RIGHTS: WORST SYSTEM!

Do you have any idea how hard it is to post on Anandtech with a Commodore VIC-20 with a 1200 baud modem! This site is HORRIBLE in text mode! 🙂

I use an etch-a-sketch powered by a mouse in a spinning wheel. It will tear up any XP or P4 based system on the market. Rodent Inside!

lololol

Well my dad still has his commodore, not working though. But his 33mhz compaq still runs fine... upgraded to 8 megs of ram! 4 to 8 for over $150 bucks (was quite awhile ago though) 🙂

Indeed, that is some pricey memory. Today, people are complaining about 256MB PC2100 DDR SDRAM sticks costing $70. I still say it's cheap. Not too long ago a 64MB stick of PC133 would have cost $100+.

<< I have a Newton. >>

Remember the cameo it made on "The Simpsons"? I didn't work worth a darn there either. 😛

<< I use a rock and a broken crayon >>

All I have is a rock, I use it to chip my messeges into other rocks and wait for someone to wander by to read them.

uh... huhuh.... that was cool.... A NEF fest in general hardware 😉

I still have a working 8086 with MS-DOS 5, WP 5 and California games on it. A whopping 20 meg hard drive about the size of my ass, and a full 64 k ram. I did have to upgrade the floppy though. Went from the 5.25" floppy (cuz they stopped making them) and to a 3.5" 1mb drive 🙂

I want to find myself good-condition Tandy 1000 and TI99 4/a machines to reminece(sp?) of the "good old days" of my early computing years. 🙂
A Tandy 1000TL would be nice... One of the best of the Tandy 1000's before they started to fade out because of the clones.
Kinda' like Star Wars 2.... [duck]

I think I've got a 1000TL somewhere.

Telepathy via conjugate cellular transitional function. About 3 hours per instruction. About as efficient as your typical government employee! 🙂

Cheers!
