October 27th, I got a nice little lunch bag from JC Penny as a replacement for the sunglasses that they were giving out(Ran out overwhelming response). This is a nice little lunch bag so now no more brown bagging it with my lunch. Has anyone else gotten this lunch bag?
 
Got the Mitsui CDRs from adaptec. Strange they sent me 1 cdr disc 2 days ago and then i got another 3 today. Some people got 6 in one shipment. Hey how do i get palm iiie for free? A guy on the thread claimed he got 4 for free.

Okay this sucks. I sent my used books in to BigWords.com for STORE CREDIT for next semester. That credit is good for one year. Well, BIGWORDS.COM HAS WENT OUT OF BUSINESS! So they have my books and my money!
 


Well last Monday I was maoning about how I was being treated with a online order I purchased from #@$^& the Plexter 8-4-32 rw,I even tried to cancell it because I took them for a PM of over eighty dollars defference but they sent it anyway and I decided to keep it and let them know so too.



Well today got a call from #@$^% and they said that they had a credit to apply to my card for the charged rewrite that was cancelled for 159.00,Ipaid 127.28 for the rewrite and told them so and that I already had this took care of and decided to keep the rw anyway and had it already and wanted this issue over with.After a second I was told the 159.00 credit would be applied to my cc and that the issue was over and to keep the rw,I said realy they said yep..............about a hour later UPS showed up with a call tag for the rewrite and I told him to cancell I decided to keep it 😀
 
has anybody thought about sending a nice e-mail to the kind folks at the overclockers store (the new ver) about their recient spammage here?
 
Does anyone remember way back when someone posted about a class action suit against Toshiba for a faulty floppy controller? Well I finally received a check in the mail from it for $376 and some odd cents. Woooohooo, I'm gonna go out and buy something tomorrow!

After reviewing some of the previous posts, I still decided to order from this company. It was a big mistake. I ordered a 128M PC100 module on 10.20(Fri) and it was finally shipped on 10.30 thru UPS Gd. The product was in stock when I ordered it however it was noted it may take a few days to process the order. Fine. My issue is why did it take so long to process the order--6 business days from date of order. A phone call to the sales rep was not helpful and much worse he said he could not look at the order because he was not at a terminal or even willing to get his butt up and get to a terminal. This company is not a book/ship business. It is more book the order and wait a 10 days later and ship it unless you pay them an expedite fee to handle it within 2 days. I may even speculate that they had an order with a memory mfg. that got them a better price on memory and held off on shipping the product until they got the new inventory in. No referrals from me but just bad press. Watch your dollar.

 
THESE SPEAKERS ARE ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!! I just got the Boston Acoustics Digital Media Theater speakers for $79.99 ($93 with shipping), and they are absolutely beatiful. I love them to death, and would recommend anyone else to get these. I got them through Computer Geeks Outlet...they're $300-$350 everywhere else, so it was a great deal.

It seems as though everything worked out! I received the Linksys rebate checks! Since I purchased 4 products, they sent 4 rebate checks. My total rebate was $55. Not bad... $130 order total - $55 Linksys - $20 CyberShop rebates = $55!

$55 for two PCI NICs, one PCMCIA NIC, and one 5-port SWITCH.

😀 Let's just say I'm happy 😀

I'm also amazed at the staples people!!! I actually received my order (everything):Q early!!!! My voodoo 5 was supposed to arrive next week, but I got everything today! (the free tv, the free attache case, and both pricematches plus coupons!!!) I got the plextor yesterday! 😀 Plus the ccitek order really did arrive today!!!! yahoo!!!

 
Just checked uBid's new Auction Exchange. I guess it is an e-bay thingy for uBid, which consumers and merchants can list their own items for auction. I went to the monitor section, and saw that they have about 30 or so ViewSonic PF790 19&quot; monitors for approx. $444 each. Reburbished. Don't get me wrong, these are great monitors, but $444 each for reburb? plus $65 or so shipping. Onvia has it for $439.49 shipped, and I'm pretty sure Onvia has them in new.
