Recently, I posted to this thread:
"I am expecting [Linksys/CyberShop] rebates for 2 PCI NICs, 1 PCMCIA NIC, and 1 5-port SWITCH... have not received anything, yet."

For that purchase, I went through CyberShop to get to Computers4Sure... so that I could take advantage of the CyberShop rebate and the Linksys rebate. I'm happy to share that I received the CyberShop rebate on 11/20.

I didn't think I'd actually get the CyberShop rebate because it was actually two rebates at the same time: one for free shipping and the other for (if I rememeber) 10% off.

Hopefully, the Linksys rebate will be coming soon. Will post again when it does!

You guys really need to take a chill pill and relax. I can't imagine just spending all day looking for reasons to lock threads and tell people where to post. (I'm not talking about the moderators) This is a forum for crying out loud.

If somebody makes a post and people are replying to it, then let it go. Obviously if alot of people are replying then it's of interest to them. If it's not of interest to you go on, you don't need to waste your time replying. You can probably tell just from the message title if its worth your time.

In fact what is the big deal about posting. Example- 'Anybody get their cheap ram from Access Micro/McGlen.com?' 45 people replied. It's obviously of interest to alot of people, so let it go. It's not hurting anything. It's too hard to try to post discussions under 1 thread such as this. If it is a big deal then make a new forum called Hot Deals Discussion. So people can finally get together and talk, instead of trying to tread around rules. Like I said, this is a forum.
 
I had ordered RAM from Accessmicro last month. It was a PC133 128 Generic DIMM. I was having major Windows Protection Fault problems right after I installed the new chip. I call them up, and they tell me that their Name Brand DIMMS are selling for the same price as the generic the I had just bought, so I could exchange my DIMM for no extra charge. (My office paid for the old one to be shipped back). The new DIMM arrived today and it's a PC133 128 Micron. Very Cool. Thats all I have for now. Ape Out.
 
i bought a Nokia 8290 for $130... people are selling them for $45... :disgust: i think i'm going to go and hang myself.

Got my AS90 Today and it Rocks, Paid 219.99 shipped, I was a little scared buying a Monitor online from the horror stories I've read about returning 50 pounds because of banding or whatever, but so far (2 hours) mine is perfect. All resolutions display great flicker free up to 1600x1200 which is way too small for me, I'm happy at 1024x728. This price for a new 19 inch just can't be beat.

Now I've got enough money left over to get something else, Maybe if I can snag the Soundblaster Xgamer 5.1 from BestBuy for 79.99+tax.
 
got the free 5inch Black and White TV for the D-link MP3/OfficeMax deal. But haven't gotten the rebate yet. I sent in a photocopy for the TV and the real UPC for the rebate. Has anyone gotten both?

CyberTiger I received the free TV about 2 weeks ago, and the rebate from D-Link last week.

oh btw, I did the same as you mailing in a copy of UPC for the TV and the original to D-Link.

Bad news alert!!

For those of you that got a Tivo from circuit city when they had 2 rebates that had identical dates, in addition to the philips rebate, check this out.

I just received notice that circuit city's rebate #8426 doesn't fall within the purchase date. Obviously they're trying to screw us. So far, I can't find my copy of the rebate form, so if anybody has theirs, please email me. I'm going to call them monday.

I'll be DAMNED if circuit city's going to screw me!
 
order the msi ss7 motherboard from overstock.
I changed my mind with I found out that it was atx.
since it was a sunday, they didnt have anyone to answer the phones. So, I email them immediately (10 minutes after I put the order through). The next morning,I received an email saying it was too late to cancelled because the item was shipped.... Well it has been 5 days and I still haven't received the item... Has it really been shipped or what???
