Sensible advice. Though I don't see a mild stimulant causing a great deal of harm, I think I'll follow it.

It can - as opposed to increasing heart rate, it can also cause irritation to the cardiac myocytes, exacerbating existing arrythmias. I have several patients who have been put on caffeine fasts for all kinds of arrythmias because it can make them significantly worse. It's the safe thing to do at this stage of the game. I hope you visit your doctor and find out what's goin on.

Cardiologist has tests scheduled, the first is next week. I hit a new low this morning, heart rate of 38. It started out as an annoyance, now I'm actually starting to worry. At some point, I expect it's simply going to stop.

Unless you are passing out or feeling dizzy, I wouldn't panic.
