If you flip this just a little bit, and if cable companies know exactly which households have blacks living there, and they provided that info to political campaigns. Then the campaigns were able to individually target that exact house with tailored ads that popped up before shows/during breaks/ect, people would flip their shit.
Social media is still sort of seen as an "entertainment" space. But it's not any more. It's a place where people absorb and reinforce their world view and it's being manipulated without them really knowing it.
