Do you sit all the way back while surfing? That can't be very comfy unless you have a wireless keyboard / mouse you've got on your lap. What about sinking down? How low is your desk? Just a few reasons why I'm surprised you don't have a proper desk chair.

My desk is a metal university prof desk. My chair is at an angle so my face is about 2 feet away from my 24" monitor. I still have a little leeway with my wired keyboard (stiing on a thin board on my lap) and my trackball (on the right arm rest). I was a bit too low which is why I put 4" of carpet under my cushion (I removed this in the pic shown).

This is old news.

The courts ruled that the manufacturer was only partly guilty since this guy's ass already had a crack in it.
