I know it is a double standard and I am okay with that.
boy should've manned up and kicked the girls asses.
Taken from Reddit. After watching the video, Im pretty surprised the mother of the boy isn't pressing charges.

Damn straight he should have.
Yes.You really want to see these kids exposed to the justice system?
Yes. Throwing them in juvi has a fairly good chance of scaring the shit out of them and make them think twice before they pull something like that again. You think that will do anyone any good?
those bitches better live the rest of their shoulders....they may have just created a serial rapist and they might be the first targets....kids don't forget shit like this.
The perpetrators should be prosecuted and this needs to go to court so that they realize the seriousness of their actions. The boy might very well be traumatized for life from this. Especially given that it was posted on Youtube for the entire school to see. Someone out there (hopefully the D.A.) needs to man up and force the issue. I really hope that this story doesn't die and that the girls end up being prosecuted the same way we would expect to see a boy be prosecuted had the situation been reversed.
When I was a teenager, something happened and I had a big tear in some pants I was wearing. After that, a neighborhood girl and her friend ripped them to shreds while I was wearing them. I was... turned on. 30yo virgin now so maybe I was scarred for life!
Several of us once went to a hang-out we had out in the woods and played Truth or Dare. A female friend had a female cousin visiting that my friend wanted to impress (he thought she was hot). They dared him to strip naked and climb down to the room at the bottom of a deep sink hole when they lifted the rope out (the hole was our hang-out; it was so deep that you needed a rope to reach the really-long ladder). He obliged and had his clothes spread over half a mile of woods before the rope was tossed down as everyone ran away.
LOL wow you guys are massively overreacting to this. It was a childish prank that went too far - what exactly would be solved by prosecuting them? They're eleven years old. You guys are acting like it was a brutal gang rape, which is quite clearly wasn't.
The boy needs to hard the fuck up TBH.
the girls should be charged. they have issues. perhaps then this would force help for them and the victim.
Good stories, but vastly different situations from the OP.
If we all had video phones back then I'm sure the vids would have been similarly passed around and laughed at.
Not true in the slightest.
Seriously? You know they wouldn't hestitate drag a boy through the mud and ruin his future, but some how you don't think it shouldn't happen in this case? Why? What's so special about these girls that they shouldn't be held accountable? It was just as dirty as if 2 boys had done it to a girl. This is the real "pussification of America", unwilling to hold someone accountable."But I also don't think that their future should be ruined either"
