I searched for a more recent thread on this movie, but the most recent one was six months old.

I really liked this movie. That cartoon was hilarious! Lots of very interesting points that Michael Moore brought up. I'm going to rent his other movies.

Nah, I really didn't care for it too much since I can think for myself and I don't need a one-sided propanganda filled documentary to do it for me.

Despite the fact that Michael Moore is very left-wing, I really want to see the movie. I'll probably rent it when I get back down to college.

He just blatantly lies and makes up stories.
He pretends that his fictional works are documentaries, which they clearly are not.
He takes clips of his interviews with people and edits them to make it seem like the person being interviewed is saying something that they are not.
He tells stories in his book about supposed conversations he had with certain politicians that he has never even spoken to.
His movies are worse than when NBC(?) filmed that car exploding when the gas tank was hit and didn't bother telling people that they had rigged it with explosives.

I loved it!

That is, I loved it like I love a bad version of Chicken Little. Michael Moore is not a stupid man, but he is very prone to subjective fact-selection. "Bowling For Columbine" was a horribly inaccurate propaganda piece.

He is totally one sided about everything. He loves to tear apart Charlton Heston... yet they chopped up the whole story. All the stories about the little kids taking guns to school, were one sided too. He failed to say that the wonderful household that the kids were staying in were crack houses...

Some parts are interesting, particularly the short interview with Marilyn Manson and his amusing jabs at the mainstream news media. The majority, however, is pure biased fiction, and his attacks on Charlton Heston and the NRA start off lame and end up inexcusable.
In the end, you find out that Michael Moore did exactly what he finds so deplorable in the mainstream media. He twisted the facts and profited off a tragedy.

It was decent and of course people have already pointed out the possible flaws. But I sure as hell wouldn't get any DVD of it.
