Dude, let me get this straight. Your telling an '03 Sienna to bow down to an '04 Odyssey?
Give me a break. If you're gonna be fair, compare the '04 Sienna to the '04 Odyssey. The '04 Odyseey thoroughly trounces the Odyssey on ride/features/value.
As for performance, the '04 Sienna, '04 Odyssey and '04 are all the same speed 0-60 (7.9 seconds) and through the quarter mile.
Go ride in an '04 Sienna (I have) before spouting off nonsense![]()
As for trannies, the '04 Sienna uses a 5-speed auto. HONDA is the one that had to recally Odyssey/Accord/CL trannies a while back![]()

I'm comparing the 04 Sienna to the 04 Odyssey. The Car and Driver drive test even said the 04 ody beat the 04 Sienna by a full car length.

Edmund's picked both the new Sienna and Quest over the Odyssey as their top choices for 2004 minivans. I'm sure the next Odyssey has some tricks up its sleeve, though.

Motor Trend says they all do 7.9 seconds. Not that it matters. I don't know many soccermoms flooring it from a stop. But where it matters (people hauling ability, features, ammenities, ride/handling), the '04 Sienna tops all.
Not to mention it offers:
AWD
Parking Sense (front and rear)
adaptive cruise control (keeps a set distance)
Power liftgate
Roll down side mirrors
Backup cam (with GPS option)
It also offers a host of other features that teh Odyssey can't touch.
BOTTOM LINE. Toyota snagged all of the best features from all the other minivans to make the UBER mom-mobile. You just can't touch it![]()

are you SURE you mean roll down side mirrors? i think you mean roll down side windows in the back. i can't see why anyone would want a roll down side mirror.
but if this is something new and there are real benefits to roll down side mirrors. i don't know about it.
also, Rossman and others, you know of course that this is really the first minivan that toyota really got right, the previous sienna was pretty good but it was really a bit small for a true minivan.
Honda too, the previous ody was HIDEOUS.

I beg to differ on that. The Odyssey has been on the market since '99. The Sienna was designed with enhancements taking feature ques from the:The difference between the two is negligble.
