Sitting in a tree can certainly be very relaxing. So can sitting under that tree. Maybe with a book. Or a glass of wine, some bread and cheese, a little salami.
My uncle was an avid avid hunter. Hunting and fishing. It was just about the only thing he ever talked about. He always talked about the beauty of the area in north-central PA where he hunted, and called it "God's country". But the weird thing that always struck me is that I never once heard him mention ever venturing out into those woods when he wasn't hunting. He never just went for a hike. I don't think he owned a camera. I think that's typical of the vast majority of hunters back in that world (I moved west 30 years ago and have never looked back). If they're not out there with a bow or a gun or a fishing rod, it's like they're unable to fathom being out just enjoying the beauty of nature.
